Elsewhere on these forums I've posted pics of my trip to France to see the metre gauge steam gala just south of Calais: http://s9.zetaboards.com/MRW_Forums/topic/7101041/ However there was some miniature railway interest: Simon's Miniature Railway ( http://www.1smr.co.uk/ ) had a short line at Noyelles-sur-Mer station giving free rides (the Wren and DMU driving car, plus the single Pacer railcar were in use). Also, at Cayeux-sur-mer terminus, there was a circular 5" gauge line in the station forecourt with a pair of SNCF steam locos giving rides. Pic below.
