Well there is the Ffestiniog which is at Porthmadog or the Welsh Highland line, not miniature but well worth a visit. Bit of a drive but there is the Fairbourne Steam Railway, never been but im told it's a nice line. Erm there is also the Llanberis Lake Railway and the Snowdon Mountain Railway (pricey but worth it) again not miniature but both very nice lines. Thats about all i can think of :lol .

Hope this helps,
Michael

Rob,

There are quite a few miniature railways you could go to:

http://www.miniaturerailwayworld.co.uk/Fairbourne.html - Fairbourne Railway

http://www.miniaturerailwayworld.co.uk/WelshHighland.html - Welsh Highland Miniature Railway, which is at Gelerts Farm station on the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway at Porthmadog

And en route, if going by car there are:

http://www.miniaturerailwayworld.co.uk/Rhyl.html
http://www.miniaturerailwayworld.co.uk/dibleys.html
http://www.miniaturerailwayworld.co.uk/conwyvalley.html

Enjoy your trip

Thanks
Peter
