Director Posts: 1,737 Group: Friends of MRMT Member #121 Joined: April 27, 2007	Hi, Sorry forgot to add the details, It is 71/4 gauge only approximately 200 yards at present but we are extending it as and when we can initially running with a battery electric transfer switcher supplied by cromar white, it is temporary for this season to see how it fits in but looking forward to a permanent line martin

Porter Posts: 45 Group: Member Member #136 Joined: May 21, 2007	Dear all, An up date with regarding Llechwedd miniature railway An agreement has been reached for the extension and the permanent installation of the railway. The main route will remain the same, but with an extension at the fair end passing around the back of an the old house, part of which will become an loco/carriage shed and small work shop, then to terminate at a station in front of the Victorian shops, the main station will be moved to a location opposite the main entrance and buildings adding a further extension of the main line from its present location. This follows a considerable investment by the mine. It is proposed by the directors of the mine that the line be up and running for Easter 2010 At the present the railway will be open for half term and other special events. But not presently weekends due to staff shortages.
