Has 5156 found a buyer yet? I only ask because I was rather surprised to see her in steam at the Eastleigh Lakeside gala today!

There isn't a buyer yet, Clive Upton kindly offered for her to stay there while she was being sold. Chris (the owner) took up the oppurtunity. It's also quite nice to have her there as there are lots of similar engines and it's also good to have steam engines being used!

I was at Eastliegh yesterday for the spring BGLR meeting and Clive said it was leaving for Ingfield later on in the day. We had to leave very early so i did not see it go. I gather it is still for sale simply moving to a new location not a new owner

It's a shame that the engine (potentially) could be leaving Pulborough, it was my favourite to drive.

A really powerful beast with a nice bark at the chimney, whoever purchases it won't be dissapointed.

I too thinks it's a shame that the engine is leaving Pulborough, it's a very nice line there with a tough gradient which can challenge the scaled locos. Although in another mind, it might look quite nice at Ingfield and from the pictures I have seen, it does. :)

Gents, the 10 1/4" G&SLE 4-6-0 was at the 10 1/4" Voryd Lilliput Railway, Rhyl from 1951 -1952, as 56501 SONIA. She came from G&SLE, Stourbridge and returned there, before moving to Lowestoft, 6/1952. Cheers , Dave Holroyde

It's been sold and was picked up today from Ingfield by Station Road Steam! :) May end up living its life on the KGLR as is nearby. That's the latest news :)
