Just having a conversation with a friend laterly, and he mentioned Knebworth Park Railway, is being romoved at the end of the 2012 season.
Looking on there website, it does say, "2012 marks the final year of the Knebworth Park Railway - be sure to catch your last ride this summer!"

http://www.knebworthhouse.com/visit/railway.html

Does any one know anymore?

Adam

Info from one of the regular Knebworth drivers is that negotiations are still ongoing regarding the future - so the railway is not necessarily closing.

Had a chat with Stuart Magden today.

He confirmed that this will be the last season for Knebworth.

Does anyone know if there is likely to be an enthusiast's evening with 'Pilgrim' in steam this year, as in previous years?

The annual Knebworth enthusiasts evening is on Wednesday 4th July (just over a weeks time) - entry at the main park gate between 18.30 and 19.15, donations of £2 per person appreciated. They hope to have both David King steam locos (Edmund Hannay and Pilgrim) in steam. Anyone else going?
