Pettypool Railway lifted

The 7 1/4" line of the Mid Cheshire Model Engineering Society at Pettypool, Sandiway, Northwich, was lifted today. Our landlord gave us notice, and all the assets are going into store until we decide on a new site. This was the scene at close of day, hard to believe that this was an intact railway five hours earlier.

I wanted a big diesel, but not quite as big as the other one!
