Just a little update of whats going on in the land of my 'trainset'

The Polly is nearly there, boiler test in the next few weeks then a full repaint in to East African Railways maroon livery with all the trimmings. Estimated Completion 2-3 Months

The work in progress is the TR Dolgoch, which is a nearly running chassis which will be stripped and cleaned for paint one run on air. The boiler requires the backhead joint and 8 stays completing at which time it will be hydraulically tested to twice working pressure before moving on to the platework and boiler fittings. Estimated completion 12-18 Months

The proposed paint scheme for the Polly sounds fab!

I have painted my Maxitrak Ruby in Darjeeling livery and it looks great, have also painted 2 coaches to match.
