The railway has reopened after major rebuilding of the storage sheds and other work. This video gives a taste of the changes. Its nice to see the railway moving on

Been there today and had a great few hours. King Arthur was on steam duties with the diesel on alternate turns. Great to see the changes - there seems to be a real buzz about the place. Cafe was doing a roaring trade and my thanks to the ladies in there for providing my other half with strawberries and cream even though we were a day early for their "Strawberries and steam" event. Good to hear a little about the 5 year plan too - good luck to you all, we will be back.
