Having made my first post already, it's time I introduced myself. I'm Jim Frisby, based just to the south of Leicester. Not involved with any particular line at present, time is a little short with a young family and new business, though I really must get round to doing something more hands on in the near future! Looking forward to the Sherwood Forest Gala at the end of the month - we visited for the first time earlier in the year, it'll be good to see the extension finished.

Hello Jim;
Welcome to this Merry band.
The Sherwood forest railway Gala sounds quite something.
Darned pity I live on the other side of the Atlantic

Hi Jim,

Let me be another to welcome you to the forum :D

I do like your Mull & West Highland pictures, I'd never seen a picture of the far end of the line before, so it was good to see your shots. I'll add a link to your site from mine next time I'm editing the links.

All the best,

Colin
