Hi all.

I'm thinking of getting a battery electric loco with 2 x 6 wheel bogies. What do you think the mimimum radius this loco would get round - my line has a short section of 9' radius at one point.

Thanks,

Steve K.
All the best,

have you already built your line? If so, buy the loco, and if it doesnt get round, just grind off the flanges on the middle wheelset. Maxitrak make a 6 wheel bogie battery electric loco, so you could just drop them a line ;)

It depends on the bogies. What is the wheelbase? Is there any sideways play in the middle axle? You can get a Simplex round 15' radius curves but it is not happy.
