Hello,

Many of you will recognise me from other sites, perhaps from articles in various publications and my book on the Kerry Tramway. I've been published a lot in France funnily enough!

For those who don't, I'm an active modeller, researcher and author in the fields of narrow gauge and miniature railways. My other main interest is film animation about which I've also published. Professionally, I'm a graphic designer, editor and publisher.

Hi Chris. Welcome to the forums of Miniature Railway World! Sorry I couldn't welcome you before, I was in Venice!

I have not seen your miniature railway books, could you possibly list the titles?

Peter,

In Venice!!

Just up the road is Alberto's 5" private railway

http://www.ferroviefelettane.it/

He has a 5" Big Boy under construction that will be quite a beast.

How funny to see a railway in Venice. It's not in Central Venice by the looks of things (I doubt anything could be!).

Thanks for showing me Adrian!

I think that you have misunderstood what I wrote. I have (co)written only one book on railways but many magazine articles. None of these have been original research on miniature railways. This doesn't however mean that I'm not a researcher - just that I haven't anything railway related on prototype matters to publish at the moment. Actually my current (occasional) area of research is on the subject of a 19th century kidnapping so not railway related at all!

I am however an active modeller as perusal of various sites will attest. Purchase of the occasional Railway Modeller or Voie Libre magazine, amongst other publications, may also yield some interesting results. I hope that clarifies matters.
