If I'm thinking of the right one King Tut did run at Wellington Country Park for a while, but I don't know where it is now. Probably in private ownership.

Any news on Princess anyone?

Abit of news on Princess and King Tut from Dave Holroyde

PRINCESS was last heard of in store at the Midland Railway Centre , Butterley , Derbyshire . It was put up for sale last year. but current location unknown.

KING TUT was originally 9.5" but regauged to 7.25"in 1994 . Last heard of with a private owner in Berkshire .

Thanks to Dave for providing this information

Hi Lambrail

Do you have any history of your loco - does it have/had a name.

My Loco was Named 'Mew Gull' when I got it. I believe the name dates from around the 1980's. It will be renamed when it's back on the road again. It is quite large for 7.25".

It's previous home was at Lavenden in Bucks but it never ran there much as it wouldn't go round the corners. I also believe it to have been tried around Willen Lake, MK, but again not with great success as I think it fouled something. I believe I am going to have to modify the cylinder drain cocks to raise them and also Make the wheelbase a bit more flexible, somehow. My first priority though is to get the boiler checked out. It's been sitting for about 6 years, with water in it!. A lot of work is going to be needed to get the loco back into service but I am hoping!
