The new operator is one Mr. Joe James.
Does anyone have any contact details for him - has he been involved with other MR projects? The office at Croxteth Park don't have details for him.

The line will apparently reopen at Easter.

I used to own 'Dennis' that worked at Croteth Park until 1992. Sold on in 1996 to pay towards 'Effie'. Now derelict :(

That's a shame to hear it's now derelict. Surely some kind hearted person with the money would give it a good home. It's a wonderful engine! :D

Problem is that the person who owns it, won't sell her back to me. Although at this stage dealing with yet another gauge is probebly not the right thing! :(

Why do you want to borrow it for Burnley then?

Burnley is a long way from Scarborough!

But there again, so is Cleethorpes! Haven't seen Mountaineer since she left Saltburn.
