Hi all, my name is Geoff. I am a member of the EWR at Kingsbury. I must admit that I am new to 7¼"gauge having said that. I have always had an interest in narrow gauge railways.

1959 aged 4 years old traveled on a narrow gauge railway in west Wales 2' 3" gauge. Then later on the devation of a 1' 11½" gauge railway. Was a founder member of the North Warwickshire Railway Society 2' gauge. When the NWRS folded a few years back was at a loose end until the EWR came to Kingsbury and in between all that modeled in various scales, my last being 16mm scale on 9mm track.

I am now interested in building a 7¼ gauge loco but I do not know how to go about it. Any help or sugestions are welcome.

Hello, Geoff; allow me as moderator to welcome you to the MRW forums!

May I congratulate you on progress at Kingsbury - fantastic owrk on getting to where you are.

Any chance you could clarify as to which Geoff you are? Geoff Holt, Echills Observer website manager is already listed, and Jeff Stevens spells "Jeff" differently (my Dad is also called Geoff)! Many other members of Echills Wood are also listed here; AJ Coulls to name but one.

Any questions or comments you have feel free to post them.

Cheers, and once again welcome to MRW forums!

Regards,

Dom Greenop

Its Geoff Ward, from Nuneaton. I work @ Try Something New Today and with home life only able to get to the railway about once every two weeks, I hope that will change later in the year.
