Hello,

Just a reminder of the Dragon Miniature Railway's first ever gala, which is to be held on Easter Monday, April 9th, from 10.45 until 4.30.

Steam is guaranteed from 11.30 until 4.00, and three steam locos are to be in action, with hopefully a fourth as well.

More information at http://www.freewebs.com/dragonrailway and http://www.miniaturerailwayworld.co.uk/dragon.html

Will we see any of you there?

Cheers,

Dom Greenop

It has been confirmed that Jack will be steaming on Saturday and Monday.

Unfortunately though the tram will not be ready; the target for completion of this is now Spring Bank Holiday. :(

I will try to get down. Depends on making a deal with the better half, though with Manchester between me and Marple that might not be impossible!!!

BTW Dom, you don't know if Brian is looking for any more coaches do you? We have 5 x 9' sit astrides for sale which came back from Canada, with bogies for about £250 each.

We certianly will be needing new coahces - Brian plans to build two more covered ones, but we will need a new shed to accomodate them.

You would be best speaking to him when you come down. I'm sure he'd like the offer though.

Cheers,

10.45 (well, the Cl 47 will be out at 10.30 or earlier) until 4.30.

Steam from 11.15-ish until 4. Three steam locos have been confirmed.

The picnic area WILL be open - simply ask the driver/station staff of your request to stop.

I will be more than likely driving Princess all day or taking photos if you would like a chat! :D
