The Echills Wood Railway is having its Official Grand Opening on Saturday 14th July 2007. The event will span over the weekend, Sat 14th/Sun 15th July. Lot's of visiting steam locos are expected and there will also be a show of Model Traction Engines, on the Station Car Park.
We are hoping to have a well known celebrity of the Railway World, to officiate the opening. Trains will run from 10.00 am to 6.00/7.00 pm Saturday and 10.00 am to 5.00 pm Sunday. Don't miss this special event!

Easter starts our summer season, with trains running on All four days of the holiday.
Again lots of visiting steam locos. Both May Bank Holidays, will also be running trains over the full weekend.

Visit our website (click below) for the latest daily updates of our on going progress.
