Craig,

"David" has since been lengthened and fitted with a decent hydrostat, and has now saved our bacon twice since commission last summer (hence a new nickname of Thunderbird 6). Three of our regular drivers can now fit into it, but Norman was small when he built it. It is normally used with covered coaches for days where weather is changeable.

It's just a right pain at the moment as you can't disengage the drive, the seat needs removing to fuel it, and it's re-coil only start.

Hopefully that may change soon in the near future.

The tram is still being re-built; the body is due to return next week from the paint-shop - photos to follow of course! :D

See you at the gala at all, Craig?

Cheers,

Dom Greenop

I will try to get down. Depends on making a deal with the better half, though with Manchester between me and Marple that might not be impossible!!!

BTW Dom, you don't know if Brian is looking for any more coaches do you? We have 5 x 9' sit astrides for sale which came back from Canada, with bogies for about £250 each.
