I understand the first open day for this 7 1/4" line this year is tommorrow (Sunday). May pop in as in the area, though that depends if I have the time... Quite an interesting set up through a couple of back gardens...

Rats; one of the very few railways in Bucks.

Do you know if there are any other open days this year?

IIRC, the owner died a couple of years ago and there was a special funeral train run him...

according to the sign in the village the next open day is 13th May and there's an open day in june as well but I didn't catch the exact date.

If my house move is delayed  I will go along on the 13th and drag my kids along :D

The father passed away but the family run the line still, opening during the year with specials at Halloween and Christmas. The line passes behind a garden or two and has other attractions, including a museum and a small section of 3ft gauge. Very nice people. THere are at least two diesel hydraulics and a Romulus. plus signalling, 'o' gauge etc.

well we braved the lovely summer weather (rain) and went along yesterday and really enjoyed it.
rides on the train are £1 per go and you need to use the train to get to the museums and O gauge track.
Kids really enjoyed it, especailly looking at all the old kids toys and my missus liked the cafe.

Next open day is the 24th June and I think there is an exhibtion on that day as well.

If it's the exhibition, If I recall correctly, having exhibited there in the past, that it's a 2 day show. The Model railway show isn't normally worth travelling a long distance for, but with the narrow guage line running as well it makes a pleasant few hours out.
