Anybody got any pics of cromar white hymek's? I could be looking to buy oe in original condition but would like to see some more detail as it is down south and i am up north!!!!!

Any experience of useing them would also be appreciated.

Ok, fair enough! I don't think I'd be prepared to go to Devon, unless of course it is for the official opening of the Penrose Light Railway :D

By the time there was an official opening of the PLR you could probably bring your wife and kids.. :rolleyes: That's if it ever gets to being "finished"...or at least almost finished..

Intrigued as to the "original condition" C/W Hymek in Devon... hiding in a private residence I presume? Only one I know of in Devon is the one converted to battery electric at Bickleigh Mill...but then I don't know everything, and Devon's a big place!!

Anybody know if there is one in the North West which i can go and get a look at? A trip to devon to find i can't fit in one comfortably at 6'4" doesn't seem the best option!!!

I know this sounds really blonde because i work at cockcrow, i dont know much about the Hymek At cockcrow,but i thought that was Cromer White, any ideas?

That one is not a cromar white loco, it was built by the late Arthur Glaze, more famous for building locos and boilers. His son is John Glaze, boiler inspector.
