I heard a whisper that this line is now closing. Anyone have any news?

First I've heard of it LR. It would surprise me if it is, I thought it to be quite a successful railway <_<

Last I heard from Ron Stanbridge all was fine, however that was a few months ago. Will drop Ron an email and find out more.

There is no truth behind any rumours of closure - trains are still running as normal. Steam day is the 2nd June this year. Ron has installed a point motor on the point under the footbridge so trains can now run round the loop in either direction. Also, the Class 47 recently made a visit to Hemsby.

I was about to say, I would be very surprised to see the line closing, considering how well they are doing. Must get down their one day.

Thanks

Thank goodness for that!
