The new Echills Wood Railway at Kingsbury Water Park opened officially on Saturday by Pete Waterman. 37 locos in operation and took part in a cavalcade, a fantastic do and a line well worth visiting. Well done all, Stoneleigh was great, but this is better!

Can't post pics sorry as new camera came but has no memory stick...!

Sounds like it was a good day. The ESSMEE open day warranted 7 locos, including Dave Henshaw (he who runs Miniature Railway magazine) bringing his Human-Powered Vehicle.

I look forward to reading the report on the Observer site.

Cheers,
