Hello my name is Ian and I live in West Sussex and I am not a train fan, but last Sunday I decided to try and track down on the internet an old friend of mine I called Issy we parted company in 1985 and I have found her. She is the 10 1/4" steam engine Isambard Kingdom Brunel that I was the regular driver for 2 years from 1982 at the Age Of Steam near Crowlas in Cornwall. I was amazed to find that Issy and another engine Trevithick from the A.O.S. are at the Royal Victoria Railway near Netley. I will be visting the railway soon. Despite having perhaps hundreds of photos taken of me on the engine I don't have a single one, can anyone help please. Thanks Ian |

Hi Ian, Welcome to the forum. Glad the site has helped you track down your old steed. I'm sure there is a topic somewhere abot the 'Age of Steam', if not please do start one, your recollections are most welcome! All the best, Colin |

Welcome to the forums Ian. I'm glad you found us and share memories of your time driving at Age of Steam. There is a topic for it under UK Miniature Railways Discussion/Closed Miniature Railways. Thanks Peter |
