Last weekend, I visited the Hollycombe Steam Collection for the first time; these are my shots of the 7.25" gauge garden railway:

Great pictures Murray, looks like you picked a good day to go.

Is Meon on loan or now a resident?

Thanks
Peter

Some good pics there.

Did you notice whether the tinkerbell had a marine or loco boiler? The marine boiler would've been identifiable by frequent removal of ash!

Thanks for the kind comments :D
Peter - only Bob and Pauline (a Romulus) are listed in the guidebook so I would assume Meon is on loan.
Dom - I'm not sure about Bob's boiler I'm afraid, but I never saw her stopped for ash removal.

Normally the ash removal is done after coaling, so unless you watch from close quarters you may not notice it! :)

Thanks anyway.

Thanks Murray. I would presume it was on loan aswell. It's been there for a while now I think.

There is a chance that it has recently arrived, is owned and run by a private individual (as per Jack at DMR), and hte guide book hasn't yet been re-printed.

Just a thought.
