Is anyone here planning on going to this event? If not to persuade you a bit more a few GN15 layouts are on offer :P I will be there on the Amberley RailGroup museum stand, if I am not to be found there I shall be roaming around in a bright purple T-shirt wearing my Amberley Museum name badge :P See you there....?

I've been told of Mick and his camera. Never one to be shy in front of the camera myself so I should be fine :P I am also hoping to visit the Swanley New Barn Railway at some point during the day, that is if it is not p*****g it down with rain

Pictures gents:

This 5.5mm layout was next to the Amberley stand. Admittedly I'm a bit lost when it comes to the NG scales. 009 and 0-16.5 I can understand but the others are just a maze to me

Posted Image

The County Donegal layout (OOn3).

Posted Image

This layout, Crackington Quay (0-16.5), won an award. I forget which one as my attention was elsewhere

Posted Image

A diesel Garratt on the Eitomo layout (009). Based on a little bit of East Africa, constructed in 1977.

Posted Image

Aww, bless :P A small scene is depicted here on the layout adjoining the Avalon Models stand. (GN15)

Posted Image

Eitomo station.

Posted Image

It is amazing at how much detail can go into these models. A tractor seen on the Tarrant Valley layout (009).

Posted Image

A pretty 0-4-0ST on the Futtocks End layout (GN15).

Posted Image

An expanded view of the GN15 layout on the Avalon Models Stand.

Posted Image

The quality of the models just gets better and better. When I get around to building my layout, first port of call will be KB Models as they produce Hudson bits and pieces.

Pizza's were the theme for the 2007 competition. This one is a little scene on Starbottom Lane.

Posted Image

These layouts just get smaller and smaller! This is on the 009 stand.

Posted Image

I liked the little military base on the Tarrant Valley layout, so I had to take a picture!

Posted Image

Another pizza layout.

Posted Image

A very preety little engine on the Willowdale Light Railway (1:50 Scale).

Posted Image

Another time locked scene on the Starbottom Lane pizza layout.

Posted Image

Terra Cotta is a freelance diorama based on a clay ware factory. The scale is 1:87 and the gauge is 6.7mm representing approximately two feet. The Shadow Sound system works with loudspeakers under the diorama. Sensors in the track perceive the position of the trains and a system of faders and amplifiers create a sound that
seems to come from the train. An extra subwoofer plays the very low frequencies needed for a good quality diesel sound.

Posted Image

A Peco Hunslet outside the shed on Stoney End (0-16.5).

Posted Image

Posted Image

A beautiful scene outside Tarrant Gunville. A WD Hunslet waits for the 'tip'.

Tarrant Gunville.

A Traction Engine is parked up for a stop over at Tarrant Gunville.

Posted Image

Another timelocked scene. This time on the Tarrant Valley layout.
