Hello "Little Giant"!! Welcome to the Forums.

You will find a huge wealth of 15" knowledge on here, who are also eager to learn, so don't hesitate to ask a question or provide an answer!!

With a large number of listees having been to Rhyl at least once (not me unfortunately :( ), any chance of knowing your real name? A few of those on here might know you then!! :)

Cheers,

Dom Greenop

Hi guys,

Sorry to interrupt your love-in, but a quick question (well 2 actually) - intrigued at the report that the two Barnes locos from James Pringle Weavers shop at LlanfairPG will be at Rhyl later in the month - will they be staying there or will they be returned to display at JPW?

2nd question - are they either steamable now or easily restorable, or will they be remaining as stuffed static-only for the forseeable future?

OK - back to your badinage - but would appreciate an answer if poss!

Cheers

Mick

The plan as it stands is to start michaels overhaul after the gala next year ready fot the big 100 in 2011 and then railway queen if the passenger numbers increase or someone has a big cheque book that is friendly
It may only be 15" but it is fun to play with

Wow, sounds like a great project, do let us know how it goes!

I suspect your first task, though, will be to make some drawings, as there don't appear to be any in existance!

Anyway, welcome to the forums.

hi mick
NO THEY WILL NEVER GO BACK

Hi Justin,

Thanks for the report. I look forward to hearing progress reports and will enter a date in my diary for a visit in 2011!

Will also strike JPW's shop off the "must divert to make a visit list" for when we get into that part of the world as there's nothing left to see there now. The goods in the shop are expensive anyway!

Best wishes

Mick
