Pandora came about quite by accident. The boiler started out as KLR's Badger, but that went wrong, so it became a 2-6-2 tank via a 009 0-6-2T. Long story!! In 009 form it did resemble Russell a bit, and in it's current form the Fairbourne influences are strong
Sadly no plans to take it out again at the moment, and I've got enough railway things going on as it is so I'm not really taking bookings... It will be seen again though, just not sure when! Colin |

Funnily enough I was pondering the same thing this afternoon. Perhaps the answer for a 1/43rd Callum is to use a OO scale figure... Viewers have already pointed out Holroyde and Townsend look-alikes (unintentional) and the Chris Shaw look-alike (intentional!!). Perhaps I need a Peter, but maybe he is already there but wearing the cap of invisibility?? Colin |

Colin Quite amazing ... your ability to capture the essence of miniature railways, model it ... and then take such high quality images of the finished product fills me with envy yet again ... marvellous and thanks for sharing again. Nick |

Thanks for the compliments Nick, I was actually experimenting with my new(ish) camera and have managed to find some new angles in the process. I will try and get some more pictures in due course... Colin |

A couple of weeks ago I accidentally dropped Shifting Sand's stock box. On first inspection there were a few loose passengers and the odd loose seat, no worries I thought, a bit of UHU will sort them out in due course. Today I dug deeper into the individual loco boxes and found that 'Cumbria's Kato chassis was loose. No worries, I can pop that back in. Only I couldn't, as the boiler had dropped down through the loco and the driver was floating about too....![]() ![]() The good news is it is fixable, indeed I managed to balance everything OK so a couple of pics could be taken: This may in fact speed up the planned overhaul, a new roof is required and a few other jobs too. She may even emerge as 'Flower of the Forest'. We shall see! Colin Edited by colinpeake, 6 Jan 2009, 11:09 AM.
