I think one of the early 1990's ratty mags has a 7mm/foot drawing but I don't have a scanner. As i've said on another post my dad has all of the R and ER newsletters from 1960- present, there might be some pics in there you havn't seen but from reading through them it wasn't the most photographed machine

Owen Ryder of SPG may be able to help - I know he has done drawings of most of the R&ER locomotives and produced or co produced Ratty Modeller for a period.

Apparantly there is an article in Issue 6 of the association magasine. I've ordered one from the excellent association sales website for the grand price of £2.00!!

Also found some great video on youtube

Craig,

I have a 7mm scale outline drawing by the late John Strong, which I'll happily send you as a .jpg if it is of use? In 0-9 Royal Anchor would be about the same size as Colin's Dapol-bash on Shifting Sands - quite a lot smaller than "Shelagh".

Send me your email address and I'll reply with attachment - I don't think you can put an attachment on a forum PM?

Hi Craig

I have spent a bit of time trying to find what few pics of ROYAL ANCHOR that I have. So far I have turned up some of her in the shed at Carnforth on the last day of operation. :(

Somewhere in the depths there should be one or two taken sevral years previously of her in two tone green which she carried after a bit of a rebuild at Carnforth. However I'm still searching for these.

I also have a couple in the book Rails from Ravenglass including a nice side shot.

If you think any of these may be of some use then let me know.

Cheers
Martin

Likewise Craig, I have one pic from 1986 with it in in maroon and Dairy Crest palstered over the front if you 'd like me to scan that and mail it?

Definitly for that Anthony, especially as I build milk tanks now!

Cheers for that Martin, will let you know!
