Many years ago, the sentient species of the Milky Way were nearly wiped out by a foe known as the Raxan. This species was terrible and cruel, its overriding hive mind directing it towards one purpose: conquest of all. The Raxan were a race of beings with no kindness or compassion, as well as being incapable of feeling any kind of emotion at all. The Raxan were beaten back, however, and under threat of annihilation the Raxan agreed to never again take up arms, and were monitored closely to make sure they would honor their word.

For over five hundred years, the Milky Way Galaxy enjoyed relative peace and prosperity under the Federation of Planets. The galaxy was seemingly on its way towards Utopia, a new golden age of cooperation between races.

However, that would not last.

The Federation became bloated and corrupt. They mishandled many catastrophes, wronging several species that were considered to be minor in the galactic stage. Their mangled policies and crippling red tape led towards a violent uprising by a group known as the Rebellion. EIn addition, the Raxan seemed to be with them. The Rebellion "liberated" the surrounding planets and it appears that they had established an alliance with the Raxan. With the ultimate warrior race on their side, the Rebellion is a threat the Federation can no longer ignore. The galaxy is tearing apart at the seams. Will you fight for peace and stability or do you sympathize with the Rebellion's cause?

Ly1yth made sure to not talk too much during the trip. She had annoyed more than one supervisor simply talking about what came to her mind, of course this usually involved statistics and diagnostics from the ship. That kind of stuff interested her, but she didn't talk too much, she didn't want to screw this up. She was down to a very thin list of those who haven't refused to work with her yet. She didn't know if she was annoying or not, but she just wanted to keep quiet for now. But she had spend time inside the ships systems, simply observing everything about it, trying to find out all the little secrets that maybe the owner didn't even know. Ly1yth had successfully hacked into the systems of the ship and was capable of taking full control if it was necessary. She had gotten mean looks when her hacking was discovered, but she managed to get in without the others noticing her presence in the ship. It was hard for her to resist... she was bored.

The pink hologram was just sitting on the control panel of the ships. In actuality the drone had it's 6 thin legs extended out and was just perched on the ledge. But no one could see it unless they looked really close at it. But they seemed more concerned with finding the lab rather than if Ly1yth was hacking into the system or the location of the drone incase she was planning on doing something she wasn't supposed to do. Ly1yth knew that it was her tenancy of causing headaches... but that was what she was built for in the first place.

She snapped to attention from messing around in the systems as Serkane started to talk, "All right, Tetroneaque, is this the place? I'm not sure exactly what kind of energy we need to be searching for... however, the environment around here seems to match up with your story. Especially that crater over there..." Ezkuro snapped back, it was pretty funny to watch them bicker. It was odd how sentients never seemed to get along, but it was one of the things that Ly1yth never quite understood about sentients, "You sure there aren't any groundshakers around here?" It was a bit of assurance that Serkane knew about where they were going, "Earthshakers, and they're pretty territorial. I doubt any have moved into the area. Besides, the rangers around here have training that lets them take down Earthshakers without killing them. If things get dangerous, we'll get to the ship. "

Ly1yth wondered why Tetroneaque wasn't acting quite normal. He was looking out the window, either he was curious or something didn't seem quite right. Ly1yth was a bit curious to find out how his technology works. Chances are she would be able to hack into his archives and pretty much keep anything she wanted for herself. She didn't have to tell Tetro... she didn't want to get him angry at her too. But it would always be nice to keep a few things for herself every once in awhile. Finally he looked over to the group and spoke, "Yeah. That looks like the place. I think we have company... are they on our side? Please say they're on our side." Ly1yth didn't expect for there to be hostiles, but she always wanted to be sure.

She closed her eyes for a moment, switching her sight to one of the external scanners. There were several squads and a few armored vehicles moving in a column towards the site. It didn't look much like they have sighted the vessel quite yet. But Ly1yth noticed something that sparked her interest. She kept her eyes closed while speaking, "Hey I've been using the scanners to sneak a peek at our company... and they have a command vehicle. Give me a second and I'll see if I can break into they're systems and maybe pick up some of they're chatter or orders." She kept her eyes closed. She always did that while she was actively concentrating on another task. It was a habit that she picked up from sentient. She spoke again, "Just give it a second and it'll come in over the comm system... they have good protection but it's nothing I haven't seen before." Ly1yth would eventually break in, it would just take a few seconds. And her eyes snapped open, a smile on her face, "Alright I'm in." She was just exited for a chance to prove what she could do...
