Links Rules Galactic Archives Character profiles	Many years ago, the sentient species of the Milky Way were nearly wiped out by a foe known as the Raxan. This species was terrible and cruel, its overriding hive mind directing it towards one purpose: conquest of all. The Raxan were a race of beings with no kindness or compassion, as well as being incapable of feeling any kind of emotion at all. The Raxan were beaten back, however, and under threat of annihilation the Raxan agreed to never again take up arms, and were monitored closely to make sure they would honor their word. For over five hundred years, the Milky Way Galaxy enjoyed relative peace and prosperity under the Federation of Planets. The galaxy was seemingly on its way towards Utopia, a new golden age of cooperation between races. However, that would not last. The Federation became bloated and corrupt. They mishandled many catastrophes, wronging several species that were considered to be minor in the galactic stage. Their mangled policies and crippling red tape led towards a violent uprising by a group known as the Rebellion. EIn addition, the Raxan seemed to be with them. The Rebellion "liberated" the surrounding planets and it appears that they had established an alliance with the Raxan. With the ultimate warrior race on their side, the Rebellion is a threat the Federation can no longer ignore. The galaxy is tearing apart at the seams. It totally ignores armor, sending a powerful pulse of pure sound at a target in a focused cone of fire. It can liquefy someone inside a tank on the highest setting, or just knock someone out on the lowest. The malestrom grenades basically cause any organic matter caught in the blast radius to change into anti matter, which then explodes. Very very messy. The spread needlers are probably the least dangerous. They only fire high velocity projectiles in a rather large area, able to penetrate most body armor with the three inch long projectiles... which then explode inside the target." Tetroneaque scratched behind one of his ears and kind of looked away before going on. "The gravity cannon should work. Its the third prototype of the hand held version. All the ship based and larger models all work perfectly, the hand held ones though seem prone to overloading and well... have ya ever seen what happens to someone who is suddenly put under ten tons of pressure? Not pretty. Thank the Nine I've only let robotic lab assistants test them out. This one should have all the kinks worked out, and I'm like ninety-eight percent sure it shouldn't kill whoever is using it." Tetroneaque didn't want his new friends to think he was some sort of mad scientist or psychopath bent on destroying everything. He was just building weapons like his own government had commissioned him to do. "Anyway, we don't want any of those items falling into enemy hands. Even if they don't reverse engineer any of them to mass produce, even a handful of those weapons would prove devastating in this galaxy from what I've seen of all of your weapons... no offense."
