While the sentient's were talking about the inventions of the Kitsuni it almost looked like Ly1yth was sleeping. Her hologram was lying down on the control panel and the hologram had it's eyes closed. Ly1yth barely registered the conversation. Not because she was trying to relax... but because of the last words that one of the sentient had spoken to her minutes ago, "Ly1yth, use your hacking abilities and go nuts." Ly1yth had simply let go of meat space. But now she had her full attention on a reality that very few people could see... and none could master. Ly1yth saw everything in a different view, even looking at the ship was something that the human brain would have a near impossible time trying to cope with, it was all full of icons, or avatars, all of these represented a system and another thing for Ly1yth to hack into and toy with. But instead of simply causing mischief like she normally did. But she was toying with the systems belonging to the soldiers... Ly1yth's only connection to meat space was in the form of cameras located on the soldiers and in several of the vehicles unmanned turrets. But while Ly1yth could have diced many of the soldiers with the many weapons mounted on the vehicles. But Ly1yth didn't want to ruin the element of surprise, chances are if they knew that there was an AI messing around with they're systems things would get a lot harder for Ly1yth to actually be of any use. But what she did do was get a complete log of every soldier, all of their weapons, equipment, even such minor details as the names of their family members. Ly1yth was literally designed for picking out and sorting through information for those few nuggets of useful stuff. But she wanted to make sure that she had everything possible. Her thin grip on reality noted that the Kistuni was taking a lot about what was in his lab, apparently he wanted to make sure that this information didn't fall into the wrong hands. And that reminded Ly1yth of her own dirty little plan. Ly1yth wanted to try and make sure that she had all of these tidbits of information. It was a bit more for the sake of having this information when Ly1yth wanted to turn it against it's user. Ly1yth noticed that the ship had landed, mainly due to the status icons of the landing gear rather then anything that was in meat space. Ly1yth was a little hesitant to return from cyberspace, where she couldn't do nearly as much, but the hologram snapped up from where it was lying. She hurried up a bit to catch up with the sentients, they were apparently a bit too exited to remember Ly1yth, but she didn't mind it. She was rather silent for once, and that was a big change. Most people that Ly1yth had worked with in the past always tried to snap Ly1yth out of her little trance because that usually meant that she was going to make something go wrong just for laughs. But she walked out into the jungle and her holographic started to twitch a bit, she never felt quite right when there wasn't too many systems for her to hack into. It was nature... it just bothered her. Ly1yth simply turned off the hologram, knowing that stealth might come in handy and a glowing hologram was rather obvious. The drone that was the real Ly1yth gently landed on Tetroneaque's shoulder, the metal legs making it look a bit like a large insect rather then an AI. Ly1yth just began to tell the others some of the information she had recovered, "They have several squads of soldiers, and they're well armed and armored, plus they have several combat vehicles that make a head on attack rather impossible... and I wasn't paying too mcuh attention to your conversation but I did pick up you being sure that you're door will hold... and that might not be too accurate... They have a lot of high yield breaching charges... those things are made to scuttle and tear appart capital ships and they have plenty of them so they are pretty much heavy artillery. And even if all of those charges don't get into the door almost all of the soldiers have plasma cutters and can get into it with time." Ly1yth's drone looked around a bit, the single camera eye shifting back and fourth quite nervously. She just continued with her tactile brief, "They have roughly 67% of the soldiers setting up a perimeter. That and I got into some of the commander's chatter, they have reinforcements waiting in heavy gunships ready to come in should the first force be killed. So I suggest that we use a backdoor... Tetrahedron hopefully there is one right... and I really think that a direct confrontation be avoided. Because I don't think charging after light tanks will be too good of an Idea... oh yea I forgot to mention that they have light tanks." Ly1yth knew that the situation was rather stacked against them... but if she wasn't here the two would have blundered into heavy resistance so at least she was being useful... |
