Links Rules Galactic Archives Character profiles	Many years ago, the sentient species of the Milky Way were nearly wiped out by a foe known as the Raxan. This species was terrible and cruel, its overriding hive mind directing it towards one purpose: conquest of all. The Raxan were a race of beings with no kindness or compassion, as well as being incapable of feeling any kind of emotion at all. The Raxan were beaten back, however, and under threat of annihilation the Raxan agreed to never again take up arms, and were monitored closely to make sure they would honor their word. For over five hundred years, the Milky Way Galaxy enjoyed relative peace and prosperity under the Federation of Planets. The galaxy was seemingly on its way towards Utopia, a new golden age of cooperation between races. However, that would not last. The Federation became bloated and corrupt. They mishandled many catastrophes, wronging several species that were considered to be minor in the galactic stage. Their mangled policies and crippling red tape led towards a violent uprising by a group known as the Rebellion. EIn addition, the Raxan seemed to be with them. The Rebellion "liberated" the surrounding planets and it appears that they had established an alliance with the Raxan. With the ultimate warrior race on their side, the Rebellion is a threat the Federation can no longer ignore. The galaxy is tearing apart at the seams. Name: John Parker Age: 36 Gender: Male Race: Human Description: John has short brown hair that is cut in military fashion (shaved head). John has crystal blue eyes, the right one is almost gray due to a scar that goes over it and down his right cheek. John has a beard that isn't too long nor too short. John is six foot three inches tall and weighs two hundred and fifty seven pounds. John is somewhat muscular due to his genetics more than working out. John has a relatively good posture, allowing him to look taller than he actually is when he stands perfectly straight. Personality: John tends to be protective of others who are younger than himself. If John gets a feeling of dislike for someone, he won't take his rage out on them unless provoked, but instead he will be civil about it and either ask them to get out of his sight or he himself will leave. Likes: Weapons, Travel, Others, Other Species Dislikes: Some people or members of species. Psychic Alignment: Pyrokinesis Warrior Class: Sniper Fighting Style: Moderation Fighter (I put this up for the following reason, John won't attack unless provoked, and when he fights he tries to save as much energy as possible while fighting with others so he could make a get away or finish the opponent off.) Strengths: Kickboxing, Marksmanship (longrange & shortrange) Weaknesses: Largely extended periods of fighting. Stats: Start with your race's stats, add the gains from your class, and add 25 in the areas of your choice. Power- 11 +1 12 Speed- 11 +2 13 Endurance- 11 +2 13 Intelligence: 10 +1 11 Senses- 10 +2 12 Psychic- 11 +2 13 Stealth- 11 11 Abilities- -Total- 85 points History: John was a military brat, there was really nothing more too it. Of course having to go to school around the other military kids wasn't so bad. Even with all the strictness that the instructors had, John and the other kids seemed to live normal lives outside of school. When John got into his teens, he hit a rough patch where his life seemed to go downhill. One night John and some of his life-long buddies went out to have some fun and ended up getting into a really large fight. John and his friends ended up getting beat to hell and ended up in the hospital for a few weeks. John was the only one with a lasting effect, John was legally pronounced blind in his right eye as someone had slashed his face up with a knife. No one ever found the attackers, but John and his friends recovered in time, and they vowed to never get into anything so stupid again. But that never really turned out to be true. John eventually graduated and enlisted. He has been serving in the ranks of the armed forces for some time. He has only received a few promotions in his service, but it has been just fine for him so far since he is doing what he loves. Over the last few years, John found religion and holds it quite highly above other things. John has no complaints about his past nor does he worry about his future, everything that comes along is part of the bigger picture of life and John has no intention of interfering in God's plan for it. Anything that comes John will try to be ready for if he can, if he can't then so be it. Pictures: None Other: Anything else
