Links Rules Galactic Archives Character profiles	Many years ago, the sentient species of the Milky Way were nearly wiped out by a foe known as the Raxan. This species was terrible and cruel, its overriding hive mind directing it towards one purpose: conquest of all. The Raxan were a race of beings with no kindness or compassion, as well as being incapable of feeling any kind of emotion at all. The Raxan were beaten back, however, and under threat of annihilation the Raxan agreed to never again take up arms, and were monitored closely to make sure they would honor their word. For over five hundred years, the Milky Way Galaxy enjoyed relative peace and prosperity under the Federation of Planets. The galaxy was seemingly on its way towards Utopia, a new golden age of cooperation between races. However, that would not last. The Federation became bloated and corrupt. They mishandled many catastrophes, wronging several species that were considered to be minor in the galactic stage. Their mangled policies and crippling red tape led towards a violent uprising by a group known as the Rebellion. EIn addition, the Raxan seemed to be with them. The Rebellion "liberated" the surrounding planets and it appears that they had established an alliance with the Raxan. With the ultimate warrior race on their side, the Rebellion is a threat the Federation can no longer ignore. The galaxy is tearing apart at the seams. Posts: 157 Group: Admin Member #6 Joined: September 14, 2006	Name: Representative Oribulon Qwerty Age: 53 Gender: Male Race: Reticulen Description: Representative Qwerty has the light grey skin and black almond shaped eyes common of his race but his head is slightly too square and looks somewhat humanoid. He doesn’t have any hair whatsoever. In formal situations he wears the standard uniform of a Reticulen leader of his station which is a pair of black dress pants and a black jacket with a high color that fits around his neck. Underneath he wears a white shirt. He wears a silver segmented belt around his waist. His shoes are black and are heavily polished. On particularly bright planets, Oribulon wears light adjusting sunglasses that block out the majority of the light. He also generally wears his weapon of choice on a holster on his left hip. Personality: Qwerty is a successful company leader as well as a government member and he has all of the qualities that are necessary. He is very good at calculating risks versus profit and has a nose for good deals. He is generally very just and fair because he believes that listening to other’s opinions is a sure way to go up in the world. Qwerty is very loyal and a most completely incorruptible. In a social setting however, he is often stiff and reclusive. Soon the company grew to be the top of the line space craft and armament producers on the market. Oribulon was raised to run the company and at age 30 he took over for his now retired father. After 10 more years in the business Oribulon was awarded a spot as a member on the council of elite corporations which runs Zorticule. He has served as a loyal member for a while now despite several assassination attempts from those lower in the ranks. Because of Oribulon’s exceptional prediction and planning skills, he was appointed as Zorticule’s federation representative.
