Links Rules Galactic Archives Character profiles	Many years ago, the sentient species of the Milky Way were nearly wiped out by a foe known as the Raxan. This species was terrible and cruel, its overriding hive mind directing it towards one purpose: conquest of all. The Raxan were a race of beings with no kindness or compassion, as well as being incapable of feeling any kind of emotion at all. The Raxan were beaten back, however, and under threat of annihilation the Raxan agreed to never again take up arms, and were monitored closely to make sure they would honor their word. For over five hundred years, the Milky Way Galaxy enjoyed relative peace and prosperity under the Federation of Planets. The galaxy was seemingly on its way towards Utopia, a new golden age of cooperation between races. However, that would not last. The Federation became bloated and corrupt. They mishandled many catastrophes, wronging several species that were considered to be minor in the galactic stage. Their mangled policies and crippling red tape led towards a violent uprising by a group known as the Rebellion. EIn addition, the Raxan seemed to be with them. The Rebellion "liberated" the surrounding planets and it appears that they had established an alliance with the Raxan. With the ultimate warrior race on their side, the Rebellion is a threat the Federation can no longer ignore. The galaxy is tearing apart at the seams. Prime Scout of the Kitsune Empire Posts: 32 Group: Members Member #31 Joined: April 14, 2007	Name: Phantos Hopeslayer Age: 23 Gender: Male Race: Kitsune Description: Phantos stands five feet four inches tall. He is a bipedal fox, covered from the tips of his ears to his toes with fur. His fur is a dark purple color except on his chest and belly area, tips of his ears, and tips of his tails which are white in color. He has three large fox-like tails. He also has three eyes, which are a brilliant green and actually give off light. He has an eye in each normal location with the third being centered in the middle of his forehead. He usually wears a kitsune scouting exosuit which is a reflective, metallic purple color with green trim. This suit covers his entire body, including the large fox-like ears on top of his head, his tails, everything. The helmet is equipped with a visor that covers his two primary eyes. The visor is orange in color and is impossible to see through from the outside, yet is clear and easy to see through from within. The helmet has a small area over his third eye that resembles the visor's material. The lower half of the face mask, which covers his muzzle has a small filter on each side. The suit is quite light in weight yet durable enough to take a few direct hits. It also has the Kitsune Empire symbol on the center of the chest, and on each shoulder pad. The symbol is a three eyed silver fox head. Personality: Phantos is a cautious and wary individual. He is a highly trained and trusted Prime Scout for the Kitsune Empire, despite his young age. While he is usually cautious, he can sometimes be reckless and is always very curious about practically everything. He is very talkative and friendly when given the chance, which isn't often where he comes from. But above all he is loyal to his empire. Likes: Exploring new places. Learning new things. Completing his missions for the good of the Kitsune Empire. Dislikes: Obstacles to his mission objectives. Others taking credit for things they didn't do. Being dirty. Unclear objectives. Psychic Alignment: Telepath Warrior Class: Scout Fighting Style: He prefers to avoid direct confrontation. But if he must fight he does so at a distance using his psychic skills to compliment his gun work. Strengths: With three eyes, his aim is excellent. His psychic abilities are also rather good. Weaknesses: Can not take much punishment and is also somewhat lacking in the physical strength department. Stats: ( I think I saw that custom races get 75 points to set as the racial stats, so do we get to add the 25 other points ontop of that for a total of 100? I'll just put the base stats, with a + next to ones I added the bonus 25 towards. If this is wrong I'll change it.) Base kitsune stats Power- 5 Speed- 10 + 5 = 15 Endurance- 5 Senses- 20 + 10 = 30 Psychic- 20 + 5 = 25 Stealth- 15 + 5 = 20 Abilities- All kitsunes have excellent hearing, smell, and eyesight. They can even see in the dark. History: Phantos was born on the Kitsune homeworld of Vulpus Prime. He was taken at the age of seven to begin training in the military. While he did well enough in most fields, his instructors determined he was best suited as a scout. He was trained until the age of twenty and was at the top of his class, thus gaining the honor of being named Prime Scout. Thus he was given the most difficult scouting missions. He scouted out possible enemies to the Empire, new worlds that might be colonized or exploited for resources, among other things. He really didn't really have much of a social life, or many friends. He always put the mission and the good of the Empire above all things. It was this reason that he was chosen as the first to go through the artificial space rift. After taking a small scout craft through the artificial space rift it slammed shut behind him, cutting him off from his home world. Also, the exit velocity was faster than anticipated and he lost control of his ship which is on a crash course with an unidentified (at least to his race) planet. His mission now is to survive the inevitable crash, find some way to establish communications with his home world, and if possible reopen the artificial space rift so that it can be made stable. Other: The Kitsune Empire is based on Vulpus Prime, their capital. This planet is far away from other sentient life, and as such they have had no practice dealing with intelligent alien life. The only alien life they have dealt with have been wild animals and plants. The Kitsunes are a Technocracy. They put technology above all things and are ruled by a council of five bio-computers. Their technology is very advanced. The bio-computers are massive super computers that have been fused with many living kitsune brains, giving the minds a sort of immortality. It is considered the utmost honor to have one's brain selected to become part of these bio-computers. Each one of these devices has a distinct main personality, despite each being made up of many different minds. Having unified their own solar system, and having no other planets within a reasonable distance, they turned their attention to creating artificial space rifts ( also known as wormholes ). It was their intention to explore and colonize new worlds that would otherwise be out of their reach. The first wormholes were determined unfit for travel, being too unstable to travel through. However several computerized probes were sent through. The small amount of data these collected determined that intelligent life did indeed exist elsewhere in the universe. The kitsunes wish to study and learn as much as they can about these aliens and their technology. After years of work, they finally created a stable wormhole. At least stable enough for a manned scout craft to go through. However, after the craft passed through the wormhole slammed shut. They are still working on creating a permanent and stable wormhole.
