Many years ago, the sentient species of the Milky Way were nearly wiped out by a foe known as the Raxan. This species was terrible and cruel, its overriding hive mind directing it towards one purpose: conquest of all. The Raxan were a race of beings with no kindness or compassion, as well as being incapable of feeling any kind of emotion at all. The Raxan were beaten back, however, and under threat of annihilation the Raxan agreed to never again take up arms, and were monitored closely to make sure they would honor their word.

For over five hundred years, the Milky Way Galaxy enjoyed relative peace and prosperity under the Federation of Planets. The galaxy was seemingly on its way towards Utopia, a new golden age of cooperation between races.

However, that would not last.

The Federation became bloated and corrupt. They mishandled many catastrophes, wronging several species that were considered to be minor in the galactic stage. Their mangled policies and crippling red tape led towards a violent uprising by a group known as the Rebellion. EIn addition, the Raxan seemed to be with them. The Rebellion "liberated" the surrounding planets and it appears that they had established an alliance with the Raxan. With the ultimate warrior race on their side, the Rebellion is a threat the Federation can no longer ignore. The galaxy is tearing apart at the seams. Will you fight for peace and stability or do you sympathize with the Rebellion's cause?

Name: Saeryn Corfir(her natural name in gutter speak or human slave's version of the NexAngelus language)
Age:[/b look]s about 23, was 125 when she was in the pod (read rp sample) *note* this is young for her specie's age, about the equivilant of being in her 20's
Gender: Female
Race: Little is known in human records but called the nexangelus in what little files exist
Description: A green skinned woman with slight spots of carapace (keeps hidden) spine like hair and skeletal wings on back (keeps hidden also)
Personality: sadistic, demented, playful in a sick twisted sort of manner. But this mainly stems from her species, seeing as to them humans are used for slave labor and for food. In her eyes humans are disgusting and crude, abeit necessary creatures for both labor, meat shields in combat, and for breeding (all Nexangelus are female and require another species to be the father) and other alien species are even less in her eyes, seeing as they make a less fitting meal and cannot properly be a father for one of them.
Chances are there is some kind of personality that could be called "nice" underneath the alien. But Nexalgelus are far from nice, seeing as their whole society is based off the suffering of humans. Because Saeryn was not one of the ones who used to be one of those who would be on a ship raiding any other ships to stray into Nexalgelus space, Saeryn has interacted with human technology before she was lost. And due to this brief exposure she hates almost everything about "prey species tech" and wants nothing to do with their culture or ways.
hunting prey species for spot, and seeing the suffering of humans.
Dislikes: Having to interact with humans, having to "play nice" and not attack them out of necessity.

Fighting Style: Uses ambush tactics, if Saeryn doesn't beleive that she can defeat an opponet she'll usually run for it and stab a target in the back.
Strengths: Stealth and psychological warfar, if there's one thing that Saeryn knows how to do is to freak people out and use fear against them.
Weaknesses: Using human technology (including firearms), carrying out a kind conversation, not scaring someone, keeping her natural born instincts at bay
Stats:
Power- 25 Saeryn isn't too strong but her claw like hands make up for it
Speed- 35 Saeryn has inhuman reaction speeds
Endurance- 20 Saeryn race is not built for endurance
Intelligence- 30 Saeryn is extremely good at reading people
Senses- 30 Saeryn has extremely keen senses and can see in the dark
Psychic- 0 Saeryn, like anyone in her species, appears like an area of psychic dead space to a psychic. This makes her easy to track via psychic, a good example of this is a dark shadow compared to a brightly lit room.
Stealth- 40 Saeryn relies on ambush tactics so she's extremely stealthy
Abilities- Claw like hands, a Long tentacle like tongue (see rp sample for b example), claws on her back that resemble skeletal wings, the ability to plant a parasite into a living thing (yet again see rp sample)

History/Rp sample: Fear, that was all that was running through Larn’s head, it kept the fatigue at bay and kept his legs moving thought the dark and cramped corridors of the merchant ship “Solaris.” His arms ached, his breath came in rasps, and his legs felt as if they were ablaze but he dared not to stop, now with that… that thing coming for him. He thought back to how an average boring trip through charted space turned into a night mare for him and the deceased crew.

Everything was normal, when the scanners picked up an unknown object floating in space, whatever it was it was small, barely larger than a man, it was alien in design and of unknown technology. When they got it into the cargo bay they found that it contained a green woman, she was obviously alien species. She had small pieces of carapace on her skin and spines for hair. It opened by it self and the woman’s face was what looked like in shock, she was speaking an unknown language. Larn left to his station as pilot, while the medical officer Reyas could see what the woman was. After an hour, the screaming began.

A lean green figure moved down the hall, it moved slowly, with a dark and wicked smile on her inhuman lips. The skeletal blades on her back that resembled wings were almost fully outstretched, a gentle tapping was made every once in awhile. She thought back to when the stasis pod had reanimated her, she saw five of the prey species staring at her with wide eyes as she stumbled from the pod, they did not understand her language. Apparently there were prey species outside her home planet and they were free, they called themselves humans. The medical officer took her off to the medical bay and watched as the scanners be befuddled at trying to find out what she was. The medical officer left her to be, but the prey species that was the mechanic came in and wanted to see the unknown find again. The mechanic was the first one to fall for her charms, the look of surprise his face when she kissed him only to turn to shock and horror as he could feel her long tongue slither down his throat and begin devour the human from the inside out. She fled before the others found what was left, a dripping sack of skin and bones. These prey species were more satisfying to hunt down, it was probably due to the fact that they weren't like the ones on her home world in the fact that they're only purpose in life was to be fed upon. She stalked the corridors, in search of the last one, she spoke in a taunting and calm voice, "Why must you run like this Larn, I sever the spinal cord first to make sure that it is painless, it won't take long, why must you tire yourself on running when it will end all the same, even if you reach the bridge we are too far away for anyone to receive signal." She gave a wicked smile as she spoke again, "Reyas truly loved you, her last thoughts were wondering why you just fled, you could have saved her." The alien had been one of the homunculus before she had been stranded in the home system of the prey species. The homunculus were a caste of torturers and experimenters, to the point that would make most human scientists cringe. She knew exactly how to bring a creature to the brink of death, to strip their body down till it was a bloody skeleton and painful rebuild it, nursing it back to health before giving it the sweet final release of death. It was hope, that was the key, give these prey species hope that they would live to see the next day and then they would not give in until their life was smudged out... all this last one needed was hope then he'd be pulled right to where she wanted him to be...

Larn his held the tears from his eyes as he continued to run as fest as he could, "I can't give up, I can't, that thing wants me to give in." Larn stomach churned at the thought of bending to that thing's will, it was a familiar feeling, he felt it a mere half an hour ago when he found the body of mechanic Johnathan, his body recognizable by the name tag on his jumpsuit, all that was left was the skin and bones, everything else was sucked out by that thing. Larn could hold back the tears no longer as he remembered his only encounter with that thing. There was no sign of the alien, walking through one of the halls Reyas the medical officer, trying to get to the bridge, there was no sign of the alien. But in the next moment the alien came out of the shadows behind them and the alien's long tongue shot straight into the back of Reyas's head, smaller tentacles visible under her skin, Reyas's face frozen in an expression of shock, she is now just like the others. Reyas was his girlfriend, he was going to propose to her after this mission, and now, his happy and simple life was turned into a nightmare. Larn heard the thing speak in a calm voice that echoed down the halls and seemed to come from everywhere at once. "Why must you run like this Larn, I sever the spinal cord first to make sure that it is painless, it won't take long, why must you tire yourself on running when it will end all the same, even if you reach the bridge we are too far away for anyone to receive signal." He continued to run faster, it seemed as if it was close, Larn almost froze in shock as he realized, "This thing can now speak English, I thought it couldn't speak English. How does she know my name, how does she know were too far away for a transmission." What the thing said next chilled Larn to the bone. "Reyas truly loved you, her last thoughts were wondering why you just fled, you could have saved her." He paused for a moment, finally venting his frustration at the futility if his situation. He began shouting at the top of his lungs into the low light of the corridors, "YOU ALIEN BITCH, WHY DID YOU TAKE HER AWAY FROM ME!" The only response was a mocking laughter that was close. Yet again fear got the better of Larn and his common sense returned to him, he continued his mad dash for the cockpit, he could lock it down and be safe from her until the ship stumbled upon a patrol craft.

The alien took pleasure in hearing the prey snap. She heard the rapid footsteps continue towards the bridge, "I'm surprised this one didn't go for a gun, like the others." She remembered another of the humans getting a shotgun, only to have his chest turn red as her claws dug into his back, and her tongue slither down his throat and devour yet another member of the prey species. When the alien talked to the human she spoke the truth, Reyas had thought of Larn in her last moments, unlike the others experiencing fear or disgust as her method of feeding. As the alien devoured the brains of the prey species her body would bring the memories of the victim into her mind, this was meant for her species finding better ways to hunt more prey. But when it came to the humans, it was a tool to make the human that she was hunting suffer all the more.

Larn made it to the bridge, it took longer than expected due the alien's mocking voices coming down one hall to make him go down another. Larn's thoughts were still concentrated on how the thing knew Reyas's thoughts as she was killed. "its just lies, its just trying to get me scared to I won't think straight, she was trying to herd me away from here, so I wouldn't be safe." Yet again Larn winced at the thought of doing what the thing wanted him to do, bending to its wicked will only to suffer the same horrible fate of getting his insides devoured. He heard foot steps behind him and knew what was going to happen next.

Larn knew that the thing was here, behind him, he was going to die here. He didn't want to turn around, as if it was going to save him. Larn steeled himself, if he was going to die he was going to face it like a man, he grabbed a wrench and turned, putting his momentum into his swing. The blow would have shattered a human's skull if it connected, but with unnatural grace and speed the alien's hand shot up and grabbed his arm, the wrench falling to the ground. The alien gave him the kiss of death. But Larn was not about to give up yet, he shoved himself away from the thing, falling from the ground. Larn was expecting to look at the alien and see her long tongue to come out from his mouth before it could slide down his throat. Larn did not see the tongue but instead saw a tentacle wriggling from his mouth, to Larn's horror, quickly forced its way into his mouth. As Larn laid on the ground he looked up to alien as she stood there, a wicked smile across her inhuman lips. Larn desperately clawed at the insides of his mouth in a vain attempt to stop the parasite from completing its unknown task. But instead Larn was rewarded with a searing pain in the back of his mouth. Larn tasted the metallic taste of blood as the parasite burrowed into the back if his throat. Suddenly the pain seemed to melt away, the fear, the anger, the disgust at what the alien had just done to him, it all seemed to melt away, a soft warmness covered his body. Thoughts came into his head, he didn't have to strain to make them, it was as if these thoughts were... just, making themselves, right inside his head. Larn's thoughts told him about how he should no longer hate the alien, or fear it, instead he should serve the alien, help it get what she wanted, and all he would have to do was change the course of the ship to the nearest planet, it would be so simple for him. As soon as the thoughts came into his head Larn did so without second thought, he sat down into the chair. More and more sweet thoughts came into Larn, he shouldn't be fearful that he was she was going to eat him, he should be honored, he was giving his life for her, for soemthing that was actually worthwile.

"wait, these aren't my thoughts, no this thing is trying to control me, I can't let it win."

The fear, the pain, the disgust, it all returned seven fold, but Larn couldn't move, it was as if he was an outside entity to his own body. Larn wanted to cry but he couldn't, the thing had won, all the running was in vain, and she wouldn't even give him a quick death like the others. The alien knew that it needed Larn and he felt sick for it. All this time Larn thought that the alien was going to kill him in the most brutal manner that its alien mind could conjure but instead it was making Larn help her get to more innocents.

The alien felt her control over the humans thoughts fade away, "Oh well its too late, the parasites in control of his nervous system anyways, once he's outlived his usefulness he'll make a good meal." She thought to herself as she walked towards the crew's rooms to see if she could find some human clothes so she could blend in better once she got onto the planet. After searching for a bit she found a jumpsuit that the crew wore that belonged to a woman, she folded back her spines so she could fit into it. If the jumpsuit she looked like a ship crew woman. She could blend in with the many other alien species that populated this star system. She looked at the patch on the left breast, it read "Reyas" the Alien thought to herself, "Chances are these humans wouldn't be able to pronounce my name, I guess I'll have to stick to the gutter speak translation, I guess Saeryn is the closest these prey species can get to it." Saeryn just tore off the patch and continued to search for anything else she could use to survive.

Larn wanted to weep, he was helping that monster get to more innocent people and there was nothing he could do. He was completely at the will of the alien, and by what he had seed of her so far, she would show no mercy and only finish him once he completed his task. Larn thought to himself, that was all he could to as he waited for the inevitable end, "She'll probably just eat me like the others, than use a life pod to land onto the planet, once on the planet she'll get away before the pod can be investigated, then they'll be no telling what she'll do there. Once a patrol craft stumbles upon this ship all they'll find is bloody rags."The ship came into orbit, Larn heard footsteps behind him, he felt the thing's tongue brushing against his neck, the Alien released her control on Larn, allowing him to release a tear, and close his eyes, bracing himself for whats to come. The black, carapaced, tentacle plunged down his throat. "I'm sorry I didn't save you Reyas."

Saeryn in what she was wearing as the crew of Solaris found her

other: The parasite isn't that strong, thats why Larn was able to regain control of his thoughts but couldn't do anything else, Saeryn can only control one person at a time and only if she's close, don't worry I'll only use this on my own NPC's and I'll use it sparringly.

Well, the personality isn't very good, but the RP sample more than makes up for it. BTW, it's considered bad form to post before your profile is approved.
