Links Rules Galactic Archives Character profiles	Many years ago, the sentient species of the Milky Way were nearly wiped out by a foe known as the Raxan. This species was terrible and cruel, its overriding hive mind directing it towards one purpose: conquest of all. The Raxan were a race of beings with no kindness or compassion, as well as being incapable of feeling any kind of emotion at all. The Raxan were beaten back, however, and under threat of annihilation the Raxan agreed to never again take up arms, and were monitored closely to make sure they would honor their word. For over five hundred years, the Milky Way Galaxy enjoyed relative peace and prosperity under the Federation of Planets. The galaxy was seemingly on its way towards Utopia, a new golden age of cooperation between races. However, that would not last. The Federation became bloated and corrupt. They mishandled many catastrophes, wronging several species that were considered to be minor in the galactic stage. Their mangled policies and crippling red tape led towards a violent uprising by a group known as the Rebellion. EIn addition, the Raxan seemed to be with them. The Rebellion "liberated" the surrounding planets and it appears that they had established an alliance with the Raxan. With the ultimate warrior race on their side, the Rebellion is a threat the Federation can no longer ignore. The galaxy is tearing apart at the seams. Price (everyone calls him Captain Price) Age: 34 Gender: male Race: What human (and damn proud of it) Description: Grizzled appearance, big mustache (see picture) Personality: Is almost always angry, acts like the bad ass he is. He rarely smiles, and when he does its usually because his explosives worked. He seems to just get angry at the smallest things, but price takes on problems head on, so he usually deals with them, with the barrel of a gun. His purpose in life seems to be in combat. Also hates the rebels with a passion. Likes: Doing his job for the better of the federation Dislikes: The crap that always comes up doing his job for the better of the federation Fighting Style:keeps his enemy pinned down with precision fire, then gets into short ranged fire fights where he specializes Strengths: Physical strength, firearms, explosives, intimidation Weaknesses: Talking, is not the best at writing, gets frustrated with computers Stats: Start with your race's stats and add 25 in the areas of your choice. Power-7 price is a bear of a man Speed- 3 captain price is not too light on his feet Endurance- 5 captain price can take a bullet and keep going (its been proven several times) Senses- 8 captain price is a sharpshooter Psychic- 0 price has no psychic powers (he's been tested) Stealth- 3 price is fairly stealthy Abilities- unless being to drink a large amount of alcohol without passing out counts as an ability, he has no psychic talents History:Price grew up in the middle class of earth, when it came to academics he was doomed for either a job in the factories or the military. Due to Price's short temper, and tenancy to resort to violence, he joined the marines. Price excelled only in physical activity, making his a prime candidate for the Federation armies. At first he resisted, even taking a swing at several of his officers. After spending time in incarceration and corporal punishment (he has multiple scars from those) Price began to work hard to try to impress officers in hopes of getting into the special ops or storm troopers. He showed great proficiency with precision firearms such as the SLAR sniper rifle. Price, with the rest of his regiment were thrown into brutal trench warfare on Raxis, and against all odds, he survived. Price's officers threw his into the most brutal of situations and yet price wouldn't die, he's taken 5 bullets to the torso, and in a week made a recovery. After several successful missions as part of the rangers he was accepted into the special ops, in his 10 years of service, 3 tours of duty, and 8 successful operations, he had come to command an aura of respect. He has become a prime example of one being all they cam be in the army. Well, the profile is good for a start, but it still needs some work. The history isn't too bad, but it ought to explain his motivations a little better. "Bad ass" isn't all that descriptive either. You ought to get a feel for the character. The more fleshed-out the personality is, the more interesting your posts are. I like the character so far, there just isn't that much to him.
