Many years ago, the sentient species of the Milky Way were nearly wiped out by a foe known as the Raxan. This species was terrible and cruel, its overriding hive mind directing it towards one purpose: conquest of all. The Raxan were a race of beings with no kindness or compassion, as well as being incapable of feeling any kind of emotion at all. The Raxan were beaten back, however, and under threat of annihilation the Raxan agreed to never again take up arms, and were monitored closely to make sure they would honor their word.

For over five hundred years, the Milky Way Galaxy enjoyed relative peace and prosperity under the Federation of Planets. The galaxy was seemingly on its way towards Utopia, a new golden age of cooperation between races.

However, that would not last.

The Federation became bloated and corrupt. They mishandled many catastrophes, wronging several species that were considered to be minor in the galactic stage. Their mangled policies and crippling red tape led towards a violent uprising by a group known as the Rebellion. EIn addition, the Raxan seemed to be with them. The Rebellion "liberated" the surrounding planets and it appears that they had established an alliance with the Raxan. With the ultimate warrior race on their side, the Rebellion is a threat the Federation can no longer ignore. The galaxy is tearing apart at the seams. Will you fight for peace and stability or do you sympathize with the Rebellion's cause?

Name: Eliot Salem
Age: 28
Gender: male
Race: Human
Description: Scruffy, blue eyes, look of confidence, looks very small compared to rios
Personality: While you can take Elliot out of the hood, you can't quite take the hood out of Elliot. His shady background shows through as he is quick to accept morally questionable missions with the promise of a big payout, or take risks that other soldiers would consider too dangerous. Fortunately for him, Rios is always there to help steer him right and make him think before he acts.
Salem and Rios may bicker, but there's no denying that on the battlefield, the two make a great team. As Rios devises strategy, Salem executes it. Without fear, regret or remorse, Salem is able to run headlong into battle and rip apart any adversary- often before his foes realize what just hit them.Never having really grown up, Eliot acts like a child, cusses like a sailor, and parties like a rock star. His terrible spending habits paired with his excessively materialistic lifestyle keep him in constant financial trouble - no matter how much money he makes, or what his nagging buddy Rios tells him.
Likes: Making money, blowing stuff up (both of them usually go hand in hand)
Dislikes: Paperwork

Fighting Style: One of the two draws fire away from the other as they sneak around, Salem prefers longer range combat
Strengths: Firearms, explosives, smooth talking
Weaknesses: Writing, taking things seriously

Stats: Start with your race's stats and add 25 in the areas of your choice.
Power: 15
Speed: 20
Endurance: 18
Intelligence: 12
Senses: 20
Psychic: 10
Stealth: 15
Extra Abilities: (if applicable)
Adaptability- Grants 5 extra stat points at character creation.
History: Salem grew up on one of the colony's on mars, living under the large domes. Elliot always grew up hanging around the wrong people, often getting him into trouble.. Him being in high school was an interesting thing. He was very thin, looked wimpy but anytime someone tried to pick a fight he usually smooth talked his way out of things. But when he did get into a fight (it happened a lot because Salem picks a lot of fights) opponent's found that he could his hard and fast. But in the academic department he was severely lacking. Salem did end up graduating high school. Eliot Salem's transition from being a small time teenage ?gangsta? to a battle hardened warrior was made easy by the Federation State Penal System. Choosing to serve his country rather than his fellow inmates, Eliot joined the Federadion Marines. He found the rigorous training to his liking but the strict discipline and structured life didn't appeal to him nearly as much. In the marines he met with Tyson Rios the the two became friends, well... eventually. (The rest continued in Rio's history.)

Name: Tyson Rios
Age: 32
Gender: male
Race: Human
Description: Tyson is extremely muscular, looks like a football player, keeps his hair close cropped and has a large scar form his career in the marines
Personality: Some men are born with instincts and some men are born with muscle. A few are born with both. Tyson Rios is one of those few.

Built like a Mack truck and raised in some of the the poorer districts of earth, Rios is a natural warrior - born to be a soldier. His tough resolve, readiness to fight, and love of heavy weaponry made him a perfect match for the Federation marines, and later SSC. In combat Rios can?t be rattled. All instinct, he becomes one with the battlefield. He is careful in his movements, able to assess, adapt and overcome under pressure. Rios acts as a leader and a point of moral grounding for his less tame partner. Rios never forgets his mistakes and always learns from them, like the reminder he carries on his face. The scar - from a close encounter with a rebellion agent. reminds him of a cardinal rule of engagement which he once broke and never again: never let your guard down.
Likes: Organization, tatics
Dislikes: Running in unprepared

Fighting Style: (Same as Salem since they almost always work together) prefers close combat over longer ranged firefights
Strengths: Phisical fighting, tatics
Weaknesses: Speaking, public speaking, sneaking around
Stats: Start with your race's stats and add 25 in the areas of your choice.
Power: 20
Speed: 12
Endurance: 20
Intelligence: 15
Senses: 13
Psychic: 10
Stealth: 10
Extra Abilities: (if applicable)
Adaptability- Grants 5 extra stat points at character creation.

History: Salem grew up on earth all his life, but moved around a lot, his father, his grandfather, and his great grandfather, had all fought and risked their lives for the Federation. He grew up almost always being "that new kid" but showed aptitude for physical activity, especially his favorite sport... football. Once in high school he joined the football team making varsity his sophomore year, and even getting to captain be junior year. His grades weren't the best but he still kept up B's and C's, Several colleges were willing to give him full rides, Tyson Rios had a promising future. But much to the shock of his mother, and his friends, he gave up all his scholarships to join the Federation marines. Tyson adapted extremely well, due to his natural leadership and discipline. He quickly became friends with his squad, given the nickname "Thor" mainly because of their shock assault tactics. One marine in his squad, Elliot Salem got on his nerves sometimes but they still stayed as friends.

Two days after becoming full marines, the rebellion started and a full scale war broke out. Thor squad preformed well, suffering no casualties during the first year of the war. The only exception was a close encounter with one of the rebellion's infamous agent's plasma blades. Two years into the Thor squad was sent on its last mission. A drop pod assault meant to take out several orbital batteries on the rebellion;s capital and leave it open for a full scale attack. The plan was almost flawless, but tragically it was sabotaged by spies and Thor squad and three other squads of marines were sent to the wrong drop zone, and instead of landing in almost empty plains outside the city, they were sent p, Beauchoc, a half destroyed town full of Rebellion soldiers. Two armored divisions, five infantry platoons were sent at the marines, meant to quickly decimate them before they could be a threat. Despite it all once the drop ship arrived they found Salem and Rios, among the wreckage of two of the dozen destroyed tanks in the village. Still fending off soldiers with fallen comrades firearms. Tyson Rios was given a dishonorable discharge due to ineffective leadership, thanks to him, the war would continue present day.

Salem quit the military after going from one squad to the next, unable to truly fit in. After months of searching, he finally met up with Tyson. Salem had a plan, he had heard of private contrasters, mercenaries. They joined into SSC, security strategy corporation. They still serve in it today. Having put in over two years of service they have become valuable members of the corporation and hired by both sides of the war to pull off high priority jobs.

Tools of the Trade

Tyson and Rios were able to "commender" stolen experimental weaponry from pirate raiders that they were able to hire. Prototypes of gauss weapons. Gauss weapons use a sharp metal spike or bolt propelled with magnetics. Only Federation Spec ops use these weapons, Rios and Salem haven't been questioned upon how they got them yet, so they just keep on using them.

Rios uses the "storm maker" shotgun and the "silent doom" SMG as his primary weapons, he keeps the "Slug Launcher" pistol as his sidearm.

Salem uses the "Fatman" grenade launcher and the "Vaporizer" energy rifle, the Vaporizer coats the bolts in an "energy screen" that gives them even more armor piercing power, he keeps the "Iron Reaper" as his sidearm.

Well, the personalities are pretty subpar. I expect them to be in paragraph form, at least. Also, the description isn't that great either. Normally, a picture would make that okay, but those pictures show them in masks, which unless they never take them off, doesn't help us get a good mental picture. Sorry, I'll have to ask you to edit it.
