The cell was very clean. Everything was a plain white. The three walls had no marls or anything. The fourth wall was heavy duty Plexiglas made to withstand even the heaviest blows. There was a bed extending out of the floor in the middle of the room. Another Ledge extended from one of the walls, this was to serve as a table. Through the Plexiglas one could easily see the cell mirroring it across the hallway. Everything was either a plain white or a dull grey. There was a security cameras inside the hallway and others positioned to monitor those contained within. Sound could easily pass through the Plexiglas, so everyone could hear Saeryn coming down the hall. It was a rapid screaming in her native tongue. No one really understood what it meant but the meaning was pretty clear. She was resisting the two soldiers dragging her by force. It was useless but she still tried. Yelling insults and curses all the way. The two soldiers dragged her until they came to one of the cells, they opened the door and threw her inside. Saeryn quickly got up and rushed at the soldiers. Before she had the chance to tear one of they're throats out they closed the door in her face. She slunk to the ground, she was officially in quarantine. But at least it had cost lives just to get here here. She had often heard how they had to detain everyone that had come into contact with her. That meant that the falken probably would be under quarantine as well. The need got really urgent when she displayed one of her talents. They were escorting her from the ship only to have her turn and give the kiss of death to one of the soldiers behind her. Then the soldiers pried her off of him he seemed completely fine. Saeryn didn't try and eat him like the others. She instead planted one of her parasites into him, he was under her control. They didn't notice anything wrong until he got up and fired his rifle at all the guards escorting Saeryn. It almost worked, she almost got free. But she was captured before she could leave the hangar. And now they just made extra sure she couldn't try and pull something like that off again. Now they were looking for everyone that had come into contact with her, in teh chance that others were being controled by her parasites. The thought of captivity didn't appeal to her at all, but Saeryn would take every possible opportunity to escape. |

Relkor was escorted to the chambers. "Now, Relkor, I know how important that scientist is to the Rebellion, but it was extremely dangerous to go off on your own like that. " said one of the scientists to him. Relkor growled. "I came back, didn't I? " "It defeats the entire purpose of quarantine if you decide to go out. Now, you aren't going out until you're done, you understand? " "...Fine. " he turns to Saeryn. "What's she doing here? " "You'll be sitting across from each other. If you are infected, you won't be able to to spread it to anyone?" "And if I'm not? " "Then the damage will be localized. " "What's she doing alive, anyway?!? If she's such a danger, then kill her right now!" "She'll be given a fair trial and we'll decide a suitable punishment..." "What's a war crime or two if we'll be winning the war anyway? " "Relkor!" "Sorry..." he said. He mumbled under his breath. "Idiots. You'll all be sorry once she kills you all. " |

Saeryn head everything that went on as they walked down the hall. At first she didn't quite recognized the voice until she started to catch the scent. She instantly recognized it as that Falken that tried and failed to kill her back on that worthless village. He was escorted into the cell and was protesting everything that the scientist was telling him. Saeryn would have a trial... but she planned to try and escape before that. She just watched the Falken's try and argue his point, an evil smile on her face the whole time. The Falken turned to Saeryn, she just gave a mocking wave and blew a kiss at him. She enjoyed the fact that he hated the thought of her still being alive despite humiliating him. The Falken looked like he saw a ghost as he turned back to the scientist, "What's she doing here? " The scientist just replied in his monotone voice, "You'll be sitting across from each other. If you are infected, you won't be able to to spread it to anyone?" Saeryn almost laughed at the irony of the situation. She would make it hell for the Falken. She enjoyed tormenting prey species, they always believed that they were right. Toying with they're emotions gave her a sick joy. The prey species enslaved on her home planet were broken and they always accepted they're fate. What few slave revolts there were would always by put down with poisoned projectiles and brutal tactics. Saeryn just watched as the conversation still continued, "What's she doing alive, anyway?!? If she's such a danger, then kill her right now!" Saeryn knew that it was a debate whether she should be killed, studied, or possible recruited into the rebellion. She just wanted to smudge out they're worthless lives. Chances are she would never return home so she would make with what she could in the prey species planets. The Falken just continued to resist his officer's decisions, "She'll be given a fair trial and we'll decide a suitable punishment." The Falken just snapped back, Saeryn was actually enjoying the argument, "What's a war crime or two if we'll be winning the war anyway? " The scientist just got angry as he was led into the cell, "Relkor!" He just immediately apologized,"Sorry."Saeryn thought it was sad how he still had to serve under the scientist despite completely disagreeing with him. As the cell closed Saeryn heard him mumble, her hearing could detect it perfectly, but she knew that the prey species didn't have nearly as sharp of hearing as she had, "Idiots. You'll all be sorry once she kills you all." Saeryn walked closer to the glass, pressing up to it, "You know me too well Falken... how ironic you're only about two feet away from me, I'd gladly kill you, It's been days since I've properly ate. My people see it as an insult to have to eat like the prey species. Of course sometimes they have given me some of the prisoners, they say it's to study how I hunt but I think it's just to save them time." Some of the earlier studies conducted on her involved a training course used to train soldiers with several "targets" that were simply armed and ordered to survive. They never stood a chance, most of the environments were very similar to the jungles of her home world. But she didn't like being simply handed food, she liked hunting unsuspecting targets. She wanted that freedom more than anything, but for now she would just verbally torment the Falken... |

Relkor stared at Saeryn. "So, this is all it's about to you? Predator and prey? Might makes right? Hmph. Have you ever seen with an Earthshaker? I have. My race grew up alongside those beasts. Hundreds of feet tall, they stand. With one thrust of their harpoon, they'll drag whole trees into their enormous mouths. We had to adapt to match them. Sure, we lost a few, but we learned from our mistakes. We learned where their weak points were, how to trap them. We developed the means to bring them down, and we built our society by going from hunted to hunter. "What has your race had to contend with? The humans you mercilessly slaughtered didn't have to deal with anything much bigger than themselves. An asteroid wiped out their toughest predators millions of years before they even learned to throw a spear. I'll bet anything you share more in common with them than you do us. So don't talk to me about prey species, we earned our right to stop being called that ages ago. " Relkor smirked. "Still, what am I doing lecturing you like that? You don't care, do you? Well, so long as I'm behind these walls you won't get to me. You're in our territory now. So, going by your logic, you're the prey. While you'll be suffering through whatever they decide to put you through, I'll be hunting Federation troops and showing my people what's good for them. Have fun. " Relkor didn't like to admit it, but Saeryn was getting to him more than he would like to admit. His morals were very loose, but at least he had things he believed in. The more he learned about what was going on in the galaxy at large, the more he knew it was time for change. Sure, he performed a few morally questionable things, but he knew that compared to the golden age the Rebellion would usher in, it was trifling. Now that he was face to face with what he considered a monster, he started to realize how much like her he truly was. |

Saeryn barely listened to the Falken's ranting. It was hard to concentrate on anything except her desire to kill something. It was a gnawing hunger, almost like an addiction. The thought of seeing the fear, hearing the hearbeat of prey. She tried to snap back to reality and somewhat listen to what the Falken was saying. He was ranting on about some beast in which Saeryn didn't care about. He paused for a moment and Saeryn looked over to him, still imagining what it would be like to slider her tongue down his screaming throat and to eat him from the inside out. "Still, what am I doing lecturing you like that? You don't care, do you? While you'll be suffering through whatever they decide to put you through, I'll be hunting Federation troops and showing my people what's good for them. Have fun." Saeryn snapped out of her haze of half paying attention and half dreaming. She just looked at him, something about his eyes made her want to claw them out. She spoke in her language, the words were elegant, making syllables that human vocal chords would have a very difficult time replicating. Saeryn caught her mistake, switching to english, "I'm sorry, I forgot you prey species don't speak my language. You think you understand me, to tell you the truth you're probably the leading expert on my species. But you still don't know the beginning about us. You think I'm just some predator that is only concerned with eating. Like an earth lion, or a predator of you're planet. You think the only thing I am concerned with was the hunt. If that was true I would have left that forsaken town when you started fighting back, I stayed because it was fun to watch you try and find me only to see the village die around you." Saeryn was actually a bit angry with how the Falken saw her. He saw her only as a mindless beast. The only reason she wanted to kill everyone around her was the fact that she was raised like that. Also she enjoyed causing fear and suffering. She just kept talking to the Falken, she wanted him to realize that she wasn't just some beast acting on instinct, "Here let me tell you why we keep humans as slaves, they make a good meal but there is another reason." She paused for a moment, she placed her claws on the glass. A small scratching noise sounded out as the carapace of her claws dragged against the heavy duty glass. "All of my species are all female, I don't know how this occurred by nature, but we need another species to be the father. We originally shared our planet with another race that we eventually conquered and enslaved. They looked almost like humans, but they were thinner and taller. They don't exist any more after we first encountered the first humans. The name for them roughly translates to prey species, humans inherited they're name when they replaced them. The humans made a better substitute, they bred more often. That's why I call you prey species, you're just like the humans in my eyes, actually you're less than them. We only keep the humans, others races like you are devoured once captured, sometimes kept on ships as rations. You would be useless to us, can't use races like you to procreate. We're not savages like you think, we have an empress, cities, a complex social system, we have to carefully manage the population of humans to have enough for food and enough to continue they're existence and for labor. We are just like you, capable of interstellar travel, of course we only use that to make pirate raids on any ships stupid enough to blunder into our star system. My race has technology more advanced then what you use. The only reason I act like I do is that it's fun to hunt something that doesn't know it's been bred to die. It's fun to me, my species uses the idea of the hunt as entertainment. You're race is inferior to mine, I see you as another meal. Even you're weapons seem crude to me. My specie's weapons are very effective, of course you would see it as very inhumane in it's use." Saeryn of course meant they're weapons. They didn't fire a steel or lead bullet or used energy. They instead fired hails of razor sharp crystals shards. Even a grazing would infect the victim with cruel poisons, most of the time to the user's preference. Saeryn gave a cruel smile. Saeryn just spoke to the Falken again, she wasn't looking at him, she was checking her claws for any defects."And you think I'll just rot in here until I die. My species live for a very long time, much longer than humans. I was 125 when I was frozen in the pod, It could have been years for all I know. My empress is over 1500 years. My species don't age like you do, we only get more developed in our abilities, but we still look young and keep our strength and agility. I have plenty of time to escape Falken, and I'm sure I can outlive you." But Saeryn wanted to kill him herself... Edited by Saeryn, Jul 5 2008, 05:03 PM.

Relkor listened intently. Every word Saeryn uttered would potentially aid him in destroying her race, if the Rebellion had to. Relkor tried his hardest not to look pleased when he heard of their difficulties with breeding. "You may consider us the inferior race. I suppose I can't change your mind about that. However, as much as you can rant about your race, you can't change the fact that I'll be let out soon and you won't. If you live as long as you say, well that'll give you longer to rot. As for our weaponry... you know what, that's classified information. " He considered briefly telling Saeryn about the kitsune scientist. The kitsune could potentially have access to knowledge even her race didn't have, and it would be quite interesting to play him against her race. It would probably be too dangerous, though. If she decided to kill Tetroneaque rather than capture him, it'd cause problems. If they managed to capture Tetroneaque, it may be difficult securing him. A couple of raxan guards entered the facility, and Relkor tried to hide the fact that they made him feel a little more at ease. Well, my pretty, there's one thing we have going for us. Your government has only managed to enslave the human race. However, our servants are just a tad bit stronger and have a lot more morale. |

Saeryn just paced back and fourth. She didn't like being caged, she hated it. Her instincts were telling her to kill everyone around her and she couldn't She heard the heartbeats of the two guards that entered the cell block. She could tell that the Falken was a bit more relaxed not that he had two lackeys to hide behind. They eventually passed by and Saeryn let the skeletal wings on her back stretch a bit, she hated having to hide them in order to blend in a bit better. She just listened to the Falken talk, taking into account his posture, movements, heart rate, everything that she could remember so that she could hunt him down and kill him in a crowd, "You may consider us the inferior race. I suppose I can't change your mind about that. However, as much as you can rant about your race, you can't change the fact that I'll be let out soon and you won't. If you live as long as you say, well that'll give you longer to rot. As for our weaponry... you know what, that's classified information." She just leaned forward, keeping her hands on her knees and her face had a smug look on her face, "You're still scared of me aren'ty you? You can't hide if from me, remember why you're pathetic illusions didn't work. I can hear you're heartbeat. She stood back up and closed her eyes for a moment, an evil smile came to her face at what she heard. The door opposite the Plexiglas opened, apparently they wanted her for another test. The guard didn't have time to react as Saeryn already knew that he was there. Before he even had the chance to fire his weapon Saeryn was already on him. Her long tongue sliding down his throat and her claws slicing his neck. He struggled for a bit, but every second Saeryn's tongue was rending muscle and organs. His struggles quickly stopped. If Saeryn want thinking logicly she would have simply started to run. But it had been days since she had fed so she completely devoured her prey. She eventually slid her tongue out of his mouth, she turned to look at the Falken. Her mouth was covered in his blood, her victims often coughed up blood as she started to spread out inside of them. She had an evil smile on her face, she just spoke in a tone full of venom and hatred, "We'll see who waits and rots" With that she started to run away from the heartbeats of the other soldiers. |

Relkor cursed himself as he saw Saeryn getting away. "That's just great... really. " He turned his head towards the guard's weapons. One of them apparently had a plasma sword... which was good enough. Unfortunately, it happened to be just out of reach. He sighted a small PDM nearby, and focused himself on it. Visualizing a robe coming from his body to it, he managed to move it. Seeing his chance, he flung it towards a button hanging on the wall. Thank the Lumere for simplicity. I don't see how I could operate one of the newer touch-screen based systems. An alarm sounded. Relkor was still no closer to getting out, but as long as the guards knew about the breach, he felt a little safer. At least there was a chance they could bring her down. |

Saeryn swore in her native language as she heard the alarm go off. Just kept running at a steady pace, there was no need to waste her energy when no one was in her pursuit. She knew that the falken's hate for her would probally cause him to try and escape too, he would most likely be punished for his actions. But he really hated her, she took sick joy in the thought of bringing that side of someone out. She remember how simple and nice he tried to act, until she showed her distaste for the prey species. She closed her eyes for a moment, playing through the memories of the guard, trying to learn her environment and make sure that the prey species didn't have that advantage over her. She saw something from the memories of the guard and an evil smile came to her face, she was even close to where she needed to be. She set a fierceome pace, most humans underestimate Saeryn's race's speed on foot but they are always caught off guard by they're lean bodies. Several of the prisoners saw her running and shouted for help, she was oblivious to they're cries and begging but she noticed that many of them were human. If Saeryn would have her wish she would devour every single one of them, one by one, they would be so helpless, all of them begging for help as Saeryn visited them one by one. She just shook her head, "No, I can't get distracted by the humans," She kept on running until she got to the door that she wanted to get too. In crude spray painted human letters it read "security office" according to the memories and the scents the last one in there was the guard that Saeryn had eaten. She pressed the button and the door slid open. She closed her eyes again as she entered the room, she needed to remember exactly how the guard would do it. She came to the computer and began to type, her typing was slow and crude due to her claws. But eventually the emergency lights sounded and water started to spray down from the ceiling, a mechanical voice rang out over the loud speakers, "emergency protocol activated" all at once the cells opened. Saeryn started to laugh to herself, she knew that they could probably deal with one prisoner, even one like her, but against a full riot she would be able to slip out. One of the humans came into the doorway, "Nice one, we'll let these rebellion bastards get they're share of punishment." The last thing he expected Saeryn to do was wrap her long thin arms around him and kiss him, she stroked his face for a moment, it almost looked like she was actually showing affection. But Saeryn's lips started to drip with fresh blood as he started to cough up large amounts of blood. Once she was done with him she let her tongue slither out of his mouth, letting the limp body fall to the ground, horribly mutilated, his face was still contorted into a silent scream. She looked out the large plexiglas window to see the crowds of prisoners arming themselves with whatever was at hand and starting to wage was on the guards with bits of pipe, sharp bits of metal, or even bare fists. The guards wern't prepared for a full riot and were caught off guard, by sheer weight of numbers Saeryn's little move had bought her a fare distraction. She slowly walked out of the room and was showered by falling water, her hair was matted down but she still had a sick smile on her face. She wanted to kill everyone in the crowds around her, but she didn't want both sides of the little conflict trying to kill her, so yet again she had to restrain her instincts. The thought of working with prey species disgusted her... but it was necessary to survive. She looked down a corridor to see the Falken notice her in the crowd, she laughed a bit and blew another mocking kiss. With that she turned the other way and started to run. |

Relkor was incredibly angry right about now. It wasn't enough that he was stuck in there, watching helplessly as Saeryn wrecked havoc. It was her sheer arrogance that really hit him hard. What was worse, she had every right to be arrogant. Relkor wanted to hit her, to hit her hard enough to wipe that smile off her face. No, Relkor... you have to stay calm. You need to think on your feet. He looked behind himself and looked at an intercom. He smirked. "Hello there. This is Relkor, I'm afraid my friend in quarantine has escaped. Would you kindly bring the humanoid back to her cell? Be on your guard. Thank you. " He couldn't leave yet, but he could sure give Saeryn hell. |

By the look of it several of the cells had failed to open when Saeryn activated the emergency protocol, apparently the cells that did not posses anyone in them were the ones that failed. If the memories of the guards were to be believed the reason several of them didn't open was because they were too lazy to register the inmates. But the inmates that had escaped were simply opening the cells for them. Apparently more of the guards were mobilizing to quell the uprising, with the fire alarms going off and the riot breaking out, chances are many of the guards and other employees still didn't know what was going on. She just kept running, she could only imagine the casualties that she would cause once she was free to hunt in the dense cityscape, all she needed to do was to escape this place. She ran to a set of metal stairs leading to a catwalk suspended above, it was meant for easy monitoring of the cells and they're inhabitants, but the control room didn't seem to have anyone. She knew that it could lead to an exit so she quickly ran up the stairs. As she reached the top a guard yelled out "HALT!" Saeryn turned to see a guard holding a crude prey species weapon in his hands. He had basic body armor meant to protect him from basic firearms and blunt impacts. Before he could even fire his weapon Saeryn had pounced onto him, chances are he was expecting her to try and run instead of leaping onto him. Saeryn's claws rended flesh from the parts the protective plates didn't cover, it wasn't meant to stop the kind of attacker that Saeyrn was. Saeryn tore through the chemical seals and threw his helmet aside. Saeryn's long black tongue slithered out of her mouth and plunged down his screaming throat. Saeryn stood up from her kill she was laughing slightly, she enjoyed the sense of chaos and hunting these prey species. She turned around and walked into the control room suspended above the cell blocks. The scent of blood hit her nostrils, she looked down to see a guard nursing his leg, a large wound on it from a blaster shot that penetrated the window. Saeryn heard a voice over the intercom system, "Hello there. This is Relkor, I'm afraid my friend in quarantine has escaped. Would you kindly bring the humanoid back to her cell? Be on your guard. Thank you." Saeryn gave an evil smile as she looked at the guard. She looked down at the cell block to see one of the prisoners opening up Relkor's cell, probably thinking that he was one of the other inmates. She walked over and picked up one of the headsets, she flicked down the mouthpiece and spoke into it, she knew that Relkor would be able to hear her, "Relkor, so that's you're name, I learned it from one of the guard's memories. I know you can hear me, pick up a headset from one of the guards, It'll be fun to talk to eachother. Look up onto the control room over the cell blocks." She deactivated her mike and turned to the guard, he tried to crawl back but his wounded leg hindered him badly. She looked out of the window down to where Relkor was, Saeryn saw him looking up over to where she was. Saeryn simply reached down and grabbed the guard by the throat, hauling him up against the window. She looked out the window to made sure that the Falken was still watching, Saeryn wanted to make sure that he could see everything as she used her claws to slit his throat, gore spattered the glass as his scream was cut short. She let the body drop to the ground, she didn't want to give the Falken a chance to catch up with her while she was feeding. She simply walked out of the control room and continued to wreak havoc... Relkor was powerless to do anything but watch as Saeryn continued to butcher his... well, "comrades" was too strong of a word, but they were his allies and Relkor definitely wasn't going to take Saeryn's continued insolence lightly. I swear, when I get out of this nightmare, I am going to push for a greater percentage of raxan guards. At least they would be able to coordinate an actual strategy to catch this monster... "As usual, I'm going to have to do everything myself..." he saw a group of guards running up behind him. "Do you guys have a tracking device I could borrow? Her violent rampage probably won't work very well once everyone knows she's coming. " They looked around. "No? Well, at the very least let's try to approach her in a way other than 'run around wildly until we get killed. ' " They looked at themselves. Relkor smirked to himself when he saw at least one was an Oxtor. "Hmm... maybe we can make her come to us, instead... do you know which way she might go next?" "Um... based on the pattern of dead bodies in here, she's probably headed towards the control room. " "She's already been in the control room!" Relkor shouted. "Um, she could take any number of ways out if that's the case. " "Perfect, just perfect..." he said sarcastically. I don't even know why I'm bothering to save these people. Oh, that's right, they're supposedly helping the Rebellion. Well, how much help can they be if one alien is enough to take this many down? "If you can download the layout of the building to my PDM, I'll be on my way. She probably can find her way around using the memories she's stolen. " A nervous-looking Lumere spoke up. "Memories, sir?" "You heard me. So get me those plans, I can't afford to give her one more advantage over me. This is going to get messy..." |

Saeryn could hear every single thing that Relkor was saying to the dumbfounded guards, ."Do you guys have a tracking device I could borrow? Her violent rampage probably won't work very well once everyone knows she's coming... No? Well, at the very least let's try to approach her in a way other than 'run around wildly until we get killed." Saeryn just listened to Relkor arguing with the dumbfounded guards. A few words caught her attention, "Hmm... maybe we can make her come to us, instead... do you know which way she might go next?" Saeryn just spoke as she walked, due to the communication system that she managed to steal she was a whisper in Relkor's ear, her voice was full of sick sarcasm and playfulness,"I'll come right to you Relkor. I'll make sure to make you suffer before I eat you, it'll be fun. She smiled as she walking along the catwalks and didn't have too hurried of a pace. The escaped prisoners forming a very competent diversion, Saeryn's keen hearing could hear the riot gun's going off in the hands of both soldiers and prisoners. Saeryn turned to where Relkor was, making sure to give one last playful wave as she walked out of sight, licking the gore off of her cruel claws. Saeryn continued to hear Relkor and the soldiers squabbling, "If you can download the layout of the building to my PDM, I'll be on my way. She probably can find her way around using the memories she's stolen." Saeryn could almost see the soldier's shock at that statement. Saeryn's body could breakdown the chemicals in the brain that literally formed one's memories. In a way Saeryn literally ate memories, her species had originally evolved that ability in order to study her prey's habits, and to learn how to hunt them better. It still served that purpose in a way, but it helped Saeryn to hunt down more advanced prey and to access they're systems and they're tools. Of course Saeryn's term for prey wasn't a literal meaning of the word, those she killed were definitely not necessary for survival, she caused so much pain for the sheer joy of it. To her humans and other prey species were no more than a mere pest, they inhabited the under cities or her home world and were allowed to live out a pitiful existence simply because they made a good food source. Saeryn turned at a T section, and she could smell the soldiers and hear they're heartbeats long before the soldiers turned the corner, brandishing more heavy riot gear. But they had something that would definitely discourage Saeryn from trying to fight, despite they're numbers, they had tall riot shields that would allow them to smash Saeryn back if she tried to pounce on one of them, that and the riot guns would shred her if she tried to charge, Saeryn didn't have armor and there was nothing that would stop the blunt slugs from tearing her to bloody rags. Saeryn instead turned to flee, right as two more soldiers brandishing the same shields and guns, forming two impenetrable walls of steel. Saeryn turned around again and fled from the two sides closing in. She instead doubled back and sprinted as fast as her inhuman body would let her. Saeryn hated being kept in a cage... but she definitely didn't want to die on one of the prey specie's worthless planets. The heavy armor and bulky shields allows Saeryn to put some distance between her aggressors and her freedom. She simply swore in her language as she muttered in human language, "I guess they are getting organized... and I doubt Relkor organized this from back in the cells." The shots of riot guns sounded off like cannons, the metal slugs peppering the air around her. They riot guns were dreadfully inaccurate and did little but discourage Saeyn from attempting to counterattack. Saeryn was back on the catwalks over the cell blocks, she leaped down from the catwalks to shake her pursuers. Saeryn's body was built for long drops so she barely registered the impact onto the top of the metal cells. Saeryn could see the rings meant for the overhead crane to hook onto should a prisoner or sample be too dangerous to transport via traditional methods. Saeryn made sure that the pair of idiot soldiers were long gone before she peered over the edge of the cell, just out of reach from Relkor. She hung down from the metal ledge, her hair flipping upside down. She smiled before speaking to Relkor, she enjoyed playing with her food, "Miss me?" She knew that Relkor would try and catch her, but she was far out of reach and he wouldn't be able to do much, Saeryn could lash out with her tongue should he attempt to use some kind of firearm, she would be able to easily catch him in his neck, making sure to paralyze him before he could even draw and use a weapon. Saeryn still had a playful smile despite the chaos unfolding all around her... |

Relkor was rather surprised to hear Relkor speaking loud and clear through the communication system. "I'll come right to you Relkor. I'll make sure to make you suffer before I eat you, it'll be fun" The audacity of this woman... Relkor thought to himself. At least now he had fair warning about all this. "Guards, get me a weapon and let me out. Immediately..." "But sir, quarantine procedures state that.." "You still care about the procedures at this point? I'm the only one who knows what she's capable of. I heard her over the com system. She's coming right here. " The guards did as they were told, giving him a single plasma saber and a small pistol; it was all they could afford to give him. "All right, once she comes here, I want you to unload everything you've got on her. When I faced her she was more or less unarmed, but that doesn't mean you can turn your back on her. " His thoughts were interrupted when a familiar voice called to him on the catwalk. Relkor was shocked to hear Saeryn up above the catwalk, and his fear turned to anger at the sight of the one who had turned the entire Rebellion security forces into her own personal plaything. He figured it was useless talking to her at this point, but since he always liked to make a few cutting remarks before he went in for the kill he did so anyway. He sent telepathic messages faster than he talked, so he did soSo, you finally decided to show your face, did you... such a shame. If you had gone straight for the exit you might have made it out. "Guards, fire at will!" he shouted to the comrades that had surrounded him. "Don't let her get away. " |

Saeryn loved messing with her prey's mind, it was just something born into her, the prey species were just that, prey meant to be toyed with then consumed. She just stood there watching the Falken, she wanted to devour him so badly, but she wanted to enjoy it, she could have just jumped down onto him using her momentum to pin him to the ground, and had her way with him. But instead Saeryn wanted to play around with him, her race always did take sick pleasure in tormenting their food before giving the pitiful remains of the prey the merciful release of death. But Saeryn also enjoyed just how much anger this one creature could be capable of, just the sound of Saeryn's voice would get him fuming and just ready to explode. To Saeryn it was just so... what's the words... primitive. But it was fun to watch, Saeryn's yellow eyes winced as the Falken's words materialized inside of her head, it just creeped her out that he could weed his lies into her head, So, you finally decided to show your face, did you... such a shame. If you had gone straight for the exit you might have made it out." Then the Falken just yelled out, "Guards, fire at will! Don't let her get away." Saeryn would have been able to locate them by their heartbeats, and would have been able to tell if they were trying to get into a prime firing position. But the hordes of prisoners that she had unleashed upon the guards also worked against her, since now there were leigeons of other heartbeats for her to sort out, Saeryn was trained to sort out everything her keen senses picked up, because the jungles if her home world were full of life and if Saeryn's race were to successfully track down any prey they would have to be capable of finding exactly what they wanted. Saeryn had apparently put the Falken's goons with the rest of the chaff in her thoughts, and she was going to pay for that underestimation. Saeryn threw herself to the ground as the bright lances of light from their weapons filled the air around her, the sound of sizzling could be heard as the beams impacted all around her. Suddenly a bright lance of pain shot up the left side of her torso.... Saeryn sat against the metal sides of the platform, still hearing the impacts of their weaponry on the sides. Saeryn checked the wound, seeing the scorch mark on her side, lucky for her it was a glancing wound and it was cauterized by the heat of the beam. Saeryn just spoke into the mike as she began to move, keeping low to not get another painful beam wound, "Why the hell do you use weapons that use heat... they freaking hurt" Saeryn really shouldn't be one to talk, seeing as her people's weapons shot shards of crystal that had poisons that would ensue a prolonged and painful death. Saeryn had used them plenty, seeing as she had helped to put down slave revolts before. But most of the fire was concentrated on where she was before she started to move, the soldiers didn't see her starting to crawl down the catwalk. She just continued to speak to the Falken, "And I actually did try and get to the exits, sadly the elite guards of this place made it a bit harder then that." Saeryn needed to escape, but it was just too fun to torment the Falken at his failure. But she would need to escape, but first she needed someone who knew how to pilot one, but her parasite should account for that... and if the guard's memories that she had devoured memories served she knew where the hangar was... |
