All schoolchildren in all schools shall have to have 1 hour set aside per week for education in personal finance for example how to save, shopping around for good deals as well as other subjects as such as citizenship. The hour per week will be taken from break and lunchtimes

Why is it the role of the state to raise children? And what's wrong with Humanities?

Methinks I won't support this bill.

I won't support either and Boo definatly won't (she does history). I'm not because Humanities is more important then Finance I think. If you took an hour out of PE now, then I'd support.

I think this would work if it was included in a subject containing this and other things, such as citizenship, as financial awareness is important, but shouldn't be used to remove time from other subjects.
