Having been informed that the Education Bill has been given to me, I am laying it down here.

All schoolchildren in all schools shall have to have 1 hour set aside per week for education in personal finance for example how to save, shopping around for good deals as well as other subjects as such as citizenship. The hour per week will be taken from break and lunchtimes
This Bill has recieved Royal Assent

Just so you know, I'm opposing this bill.

Many schools provide little time for students to eat their food without eating at unhealthily fast speeds, and even less for socialising with their friends. I do not believe that this should be reduced further.

Oh well, if it fails I can just blame HRH as he forced me to take the bill.

Hehee! If it fails the government loses popularity as being defeated in the commons is seen as a sign of weakness! ^_^

Actually, I'm going to change who I blame, and extend it to everyone. I actually agree with CCO's logic, but as noone pointed out any problems before the Bill went to vote, I was unable to correct it.

Would it be possible to sticky the discussion of the Bill that's going to be voted on next, to avoid something like this happening again, where people don't notice it until it's too late?

Stickying stuff takes effort, and my attention span is too low...

Oooh, a moth... *chases*

OK then, is there any easy way for you to bump threads to the top of the list, because that will help highlight the important ones.

Yeah, I could bump them.

This was an unusual case because it was proposed so long ago, that's why things seemed to have turned out like this.
