Proposed by Boohistory (note: text has been tidied) If this bill is passed, the following will be implemented: 1) The land that was freed up in the good of the majority act shall be taken by the government, and let out to people wishing to farm it. The organisation of this shall be dealt with by regional farm managers. Farms should try to reach output quotas depending on their size. Funding for this to be diverted from the navy, as there are no other foreign threats. 2) Quarrying, Forestry and mining to be nationalised, thus centralising the market and controlling the amount of land quarried/forrested/mined. Areas that have reached their capacity output, shall be replanted with trees and the like. Funding from the current "Super Tax" on the stupidly rich. 3)Create a premium bond scheme, where people can give us £100 in exchange for one bond. The bond has a very small chance of winning £1000. there are 2 £1000 prizes each month. The results of the bill are as follows: Ayes to the right: 5 Nos to the left: 6 The bill is therefore defeated. |
