Proposed by HRH King Charles III, All alcoholic drinks will be replaced with non-alcoholic (Definition:Drinks containing less than 0.5% alchohol by vol) versions of the same drink without altering taxation. This will improve public health, reduce costs to the NHS and also result in people taking less days of work due to sickness improving the economy. The alchohol industry can pay for it to compensate for all the money they've cost the government. The results of the vote are as follows: Ayes to the right: 2 Nos to the left: 8 The bill is therefore defeated. |
