Tax rates on all imports and exports are to be set at 2% instead of normal tax rates. This will help stimulate trade with other countries.
The loss of money will be made up by taxing non efficient cars and increasing fuel tax.

A good idea, but as the government STILL hasn't made a trade treaty with Niatland, there are no imports or exports to lower taxes on.

If we get a treaty and get import-export, I'll probably support.

This bill is being put through Parliament in case the Treaty of Boo were to be passed.

It will therefore be, on the return of the Niatland Parliament and King, should the Treaty of Boo be passed, implemented as Democratian policy (as long as the bill itself is passed)

THEREFORE even though there are no exports as of yet, this bill can be voted on, and its effects will be delayed until the passing of a trade treaty with Niatland

I'm opposing this, mainly because it goes against your own trade treaty, which I've adopted.

Also, HRH has begged for 'no' votes... will you heed him, or will you in fact spite him and pass it?

Please, DON'T spite him.

He could just withdraw it, being the safer option.
