^ lol :rolleyes: anyway, not all those places would become independant - most of cornwall couldnt care less either way, and about half of the people in northern ireland are more pro-british than anywhere else... no, the people that most want the independance are those on the borders - in fact the people on the english side of the england/scotland border are more pro-scottish independance than the entirety of scotland north of Glasgow and Edinburgh... also, if what people want is independance, why should we stop them having it? on the flip side of the coin, if what people want is union, why should we force independance onto them? there was a good article in the economist about this a week or two ago but i cant find it at the moment... |
