Serisiously, doesn't this guy understand the concept of trial and error? Also the words "Let an old dog lie" come to my mind. Bush has invaded Afghanistan and Iraq, and achieved little sucess in restoring stability. Then why I ask you; does he decide to attack a poor, segregated, chaotic country that is in the misds of a civil war? Because alledgedly the Bush administration has found "considerable believable intelligence" that Al-qae-ida have been receiving back up from the Islamic courts in Sudan. Those three words are the things that are said at the start of every Bush war. Sure he was right the first time, but isn't Afghanistan on the border of becoming a guerilla war? Equally there are SEVENTY THOUSAND militants ready to take up arms against the U.S in Baghdad alone. There's only so much peace keeping you can do against a force of insurgeance like that. The "believable intelligence" of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq was wrong, and who's to say this intelligence is to be any different? I think Bush has made a stupid blind gamble, and has possibly ruined Somalia's possibility of peace if they pursue this further. What do you guys think of this? Did the US make a clever stratigical strike or will it be another one of his blind blunders into a fresh stream of hate from extermists? |

Not so much invaded but launched air strikes from a camp north of Somalia. They have troops posted and are alegadly going to go back and stay there untill they flush out al-qae-ida. Which is essentially an occupation since they're bound to try and stabalize the area and get the Somalian government in power... and on that point I'll find a link XD |
