My school stopped selling unhealthy food, so now people just go across the road to the hospital and buy it there.

Only 6th Form are allowed outside of our school.

IT'S A PRISON...

The same applies to mine...

Should add a little extra on there:

IT'S A PRISON BUT I DON'T CARE BECAUSE 6TH FORM OWNS!!

I also should add a little extra:
The same applies to mine, but I don't care because I like being in school anyway.

Now here's something interesting. I was in the serving area at my school a few weeks ago, and I happened to overhear the dinner ladies discussing food. Basically, they hate it. The new healthy eating innitaitives, fecking Jamie Oliver and that lot, they don't want to do it! It's ludicrous! If people want things that badly they can get them in conveniance stores before school. Thankfully in September I'll be in Sixth form, so I can just go to the shops nearby during lunch break. Maybe I could start up a business selling stuff to little year 7s at inflated prices  ...

Already been done by me. My dad is working on a contract at cadbury's, and so brings loads of chocolate home that I can sell, or barter with.

Makes sense to me.

How easy is it to cook some oven chips?

Compare this with how difficult it is to make, I don't know, a wonderful pasta dish with homemade tomato source or something.

Not much difference, and the pasta dish would be much more fun to make.

Exactley! I mean, seriously, what next? Are we going to have a restaurant system? Waiters? Reservations? Haute Cuisine?!...

I'm just off to make a lamb risotto.

It will be nice.

But at school, really, people just want convenience foods - and the people that don't will bring in their own.

Simple really.

Our school is trying to make a big effort, we are offered fruit in lessons when we leace lessons, at break there are people going around school selling fruit! At lunch the meals are all fruity/veggie! and whats more annoying is the cost of everythging as rocketed! before every lunch I'd buy some lasagne and chips for a quit nice £1.10, but now I end up getting some potatoes, bit of chciken, carrots, and a apple for desurt, all for a vile £3! I think its horrible how are school re trying to make money this way!
