I'm not saying the state system works, but don't go off bashing grammar schools without considering the facts.

1. I don't know the first thing about tottling.
2. lol, me, posh, that's a good'n.
3. Any school that serves tea and cakes rather than teach is not posh, it's a disgrace.
4. I've had my head kicked in enough times in my life, you know.

It's a selective school within the state education system. When the government tried to abolish it, there was a huuuuuge petition, so it stayed open.

I was educated amongst the scummiest people upon this earth, Such characters as alun, the schools drug dealer who lived on a gypsy site, clare who got pregnant at 16 and was divorced by 18 and who can forget good my bus driver who sold the kids fags. My "Lessons" were taught in an array of mobile classrooms while all the kids at the back of the class smoked weed.

Did i deserve that just because my parents could not afford private education?!

No, of course not!

But I'd like to point out that you seem to be confused about my education - my parents are not paying a penny.

Anyways, back on topic, I don't see why people think selection by ability is a bad thing. After all, nobody's suggesting that universities should stop selecting by ability.

I've changed my mind to not liking "Public" Schools now. They create a far bigger divide than Grammar Schools.

My school is 5th best in the country[/rippingdownownargumentsforthesakeofshowingoff]. Well, I'm middle class anyway, mum's a teacher, her mum was a teacher, her mum was a teacher...you get the picture, and my dad works with oil, so I guess you could even class us as working class...
