30. Monster Raving Loony party
yes this only comes in at number 30. This is by far the most well known of the joke parties (the tories dont quite qualify as a joke party).

29. Independant Nazi
who wants to join the Nazis? *shudders*

28. Defend the Welfare Against Blairism
one of many parties with hatred against Blair in their name, and the only one included on this list. This is because they only stood in two constituancies both held by the tories with LARGE majorities...

27. WWW.XAT.ORG
why?!

26. seeks worldwide online participation party
included on the list because their only policy was that every bill should be put to an online referendum which could be voted on by anyone, anywhere in the world...

25. Build Duddon and Morecambe Bridges
stupid name, reflecting their only stupid policy.

24. Max Power party
riiighht...

23. Get Britain Back party
didnt stand in the end... another anti-blair party. like most of the rest it didnt have the faintest clue what it actually wanted...

22. FFUK
an unfortunate (or intentional) acronym for familiesfirstUK.net ...

21. "Iraq war, not in my name"
no comment...

20. Reform 2000
methinks they got the wrong year...

19. Alternative party
clearly wanted to portray themselves in a good light with this name, but i dont think it worked somehow...

18. Chairman of sunrise radio
again, no comment...

17. Rate payer
...

16. Stuckist
dont vote for me unless you dont know who to vote for...

15. Rainbow Dream Ticket party
wtf?

14. no description

13. VOTE for YOURSELF! party
err.... no comment...

12. SOS!!! Voters against overdevelopment of Northampton!
erm <_<

11. Silent majority party
if theyre silent they wont do anything. and they clearly arent the majority or they would be in power...

10. eXtinction CLUB
heellp!!! :ph43r:

9. Telepathic partnership.com
got about 30 votes. Surely if they were truly telepathic they would be able to create a set of policies and a name that people wanted, and thus done slightly better?

8. No description badwaj
<_<

7. Motorcycle news club
is that really what some people want for their government?

6. Fancy Dress party
why would ANYONE use a name like that?!? *glares at eriatarka1*

5. Jam wrestling party
as above, just more crazy...

4. Tigers eye party for kids
err... kids dont have the vote...

3. Death dungeons and taxes party
:ph43r:

2. Unrepresented people's party
paradoxical...

1. Church of militant Elvis Presleys

Heh, that's a nice collection.

Two more (real) joke parties I've heard of...

Eurobean from the Planet Beanus Party

Literal Democrat
The candidate stood as joke, and got about 300 votes. The Lib Dems lost the seat to the Tories by about 300 votes.

Regarding the Silent Majority Party, 38.7% of the electorate didn't vote, and when you include those who aren't in the electorate they may not have been too far off!
