Sounds like a bandwagon. Whilst you can argue that Cameron doesn't stand for much, he does at least keep his party under thumb, and retain an amount of dignity. And I personally think that if someone is going to defect, they should have a re-election for who they stand for. With our current policy, if someone planned to give the BNP a seat and so stood for a "safe seat" in that area then defected when they got in, it could mean we'd have a load of people from parties like UKIP in seats. Bad. <_< |
