This is the parliamentary question time for questions to the Department of the Environment.

Members of the Commons may question the government on its environmental policy. Each member is limited to one question per week.

This House recognises Pokemaniac John as the Secretary of State for the Environment, and as such requests that he answer questions posed to the government. Other ministers may answer in his place though.

This House recognises plqx as the Shadow Secretary pf State for the Environment, and as such grants him the right to ask six questions per week.

The government may only be asked to answer one question at a time - no new questions may be submitted until the previous one has been answered. If the government does not answer, action may be taken by the speaker of the commons.

I therefore open this session with the following question:

Will the government please outline to this house its environmental policy?

This House recognises that there is no appointed minister for the environment

No appointed minister for the environment  ? I think you may be forgetting someone.

Any way, we are in favour of environmentaly friendly energy sources such as wind, wave, solar etc. We (well, more I) intend to tax pretty much all environmentaly unfriendly things such as cars with particularly high carbon emmisions. Also, we would set up some sort of reward scheme for being more friendly to the environment which would be funded by the money brought in by the afore mentioned taxes.

I have not been informed of any such appointment... -_-

Anyways, I thank the right honourable gentleman for his answer and hereby open this session to the house.
