National Rail Network Established

A national rail network has tonight been established after a hastily drafted act of parliament was voted on earlier today. The National Rail Bill, which was proposed after an esculation of events caused by the introduction of a guillotine motion on a bill that would have privatised the railway network. Incidently, the guillotine motion is now being voted on in parliament.

The actions of the last few days have raised some eyebrows among political commentators, as the government took a back seat in the nationalisation of the rail network. This has led to questions about the government's grip on the political establishment. An unamed government source has blamed the government's inaction on communication problems.
